MLB DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (6/21/24) - Today's Top Lineups

George Kirby - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

The top MLB DFS daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel, DraftKings on June 21, 2024. Mike Barner's MLB DFS sleepers picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Friday brings a packed schedule with mostly night games. That will leave us with 10 games to choose from for the main slates on DraftKings and FanDuel.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/21/2024, with the slate starting at 7:05 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is also essential.

Good luck, RotoBallers!

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

George Kirby at MIA ($9,400 DraftKings; $9,800 FanDuel)

Regardless of the opponent, Kirby is usually someone to target in DFS. He has a 2.97 FIP this season and a 3.15 FIP for his career. Things tilt further in his favor for a matchup against the Marlins, who have scored the second-fewest runs in baseball. This game will also be played in the Marlins’ pitcher-friendly home park. Expect to see Kirby included in a lot of lineups, and rightfully so.

Chris Paddack at OAK ($8,700 DraftKings; $8,600 FanDuel)

Paddack faced the Athletics in his last outing, giving up five runs over 2.1 innings. He was again bitten by the long ball, allowing two home runs. Over 73.2 innings this season, he has been taken deep 13 times. Still, he could be worth taking a chance on in tournament play for this rematch. The Athletics have scored the third-fewest runs in baseball while also striking out the second-most times.

Landon Knack vs. LAA ($7,600 DraftKings; $7,400 FanDuel)

With injuries hammering their starting rotation, the Dodgers will call upon Knack to face the Angels. He made four starts with them earlier in the season, allowing six runs and recording a 0.97 WHIP over 20.2 innings. At Triple-A, he has a 3.54 ERA and a 3.89 FIP. At such cheap salaries on both sites, he could provide value versus an Angels team that has scored the 10th-fewest runs in baseball.

Also consider: Nathan Eovaldi vs. KC

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Gunnar Henderson – SS, BAL vs. Jake Bloss ($6,100 DK; $4,300 FD)

The Astros are another team just trying to find healthy starting pitchers right now. They will turn to Bloss, who was selected in the third-round of the 2023 Draft. He has eight career starts at Double-A and has never pitched at Triple-A. Now he will face an Orioles team that has scored the most runs in baseball. This is a great spot to roll with Henderson, who is having a career campaign with his .310 ISO and .410 wOBA.

Josh Naylor – 1B, CLE vs. Yariel Rodriguez ($4,800 DK; $3,400 FD)

Rodriguez (back) could come off the injured list to make this start for the Blue Jays. He struggled during his four starts in April, posting a 1.76 WHIP. He’ll have his hands full with Naylor, who has a .324 ISO and a .390 wOBA at home this season.

Spencer Horwitz – 1B/2B, TOR vs. Carlos Carrasco ($3,700 DK; $2,500 FD)

It has been a rough return to Cleveland for Carrasco, who enters this matchup with a 5.80 ERA and a 4.96 FIP. He’s not fooling many hitters, posting a 16.9 percent strikeout rate and a 1.46 WHIP. Horwitz did an excellent job of getting on base during his time in the minors, and he has translated that into a .381 wOBA with the Blue Jays this season.

Also consider: Jose Ramirez, Austin Riley, Ryan Mountcastle

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Lane Thomas – OF, WAS vs. Dakota Hudson ($5,100 DK; $3,700 FD)

Thomas struggled out of the gate, but he has performed much better since coming off the injured list. Over his last 23 games, he is 24-for-88 (.273) with six home runs and four doubles. Hudson has a 4.89 ERA and a 4.90 FIP while posting a meager 12.6 percent strikeout rate. Add in the Coors Field factor, and Thomas is a top outfielder to pursue.

Jesse Winker - OF, WAS vs. Dakota Hudson ($4,600 DK; $3,500 FD)

Winker still isn’t hitting for much power, but he is finding a way to get on base, posting a .357 wOBA for the Nationals. After recording a 4.3 percent barrel rate and a 31.9 percent hard-hit rate last year, he has an 8.2 percent barrel rate and a 37.4 percent hard-hit rate this year. Those are more in line with his career marks. Any Nationals stack should include both Thomas and Winker.

Adolis Garcia – OF, TEX vs. Brady Singer ($4,000 DK; $3,400 FD)

Singer allowed three home runs to the Dodgers in his last outing. That marked the fifth time over his last six starts that he has given up at least one home run. That could end up being his downfall in a matchup with Garcia, who has a career .220 ISO.

Also consider: Marcell Ozuna, Teoscar Hernandez, Steven Kwan

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

1. Guardians vs. Yariel Rodriguez

  • Favorite Plays: Jose Ramirez, Josh Naylor, Steven Kwan

2. Nationals vs. Dakota Hudson

  • Favorite Plays: Lane Thomas, Jesse Winker, Jacob Young

3. Orioles vs. Jake Bloss
