Welcome RotoBallers to our Two-Start Pitcher Streamers article - Waiver Wire Streamers and Starts for Week 7, from May 6 to May 11. With multiple teams having six or seven games on their schedule, we're looking at a nice variety of two-start pitchers.

Each week of this fantasy baseball season, this fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups column will identify starting pitchers expected to make two starts in the upcoming week. It can be considered as fantasy baseball streamers ahead of the Sunday night waiver wire run for leagues with weekly transactions.

There are 30 pitchers currently scheduled to make two starts during this period. We will be looking at pitchers who are less than 50% owned in Yahoo leagues. Listed will be those who are rostered over 50%, those who are best available under 50%, and risky options under 50%. There are a few other two-start pitchers available, but they should be avoided.

Best Available Two-Start Pitcher Streamers

Luis Gil (35% Rostered), New York Yankees

Scheduled Starts: vs. HOU, @ TB

Luis Gil is one of 2024's most compelling fantasy baseball developments, as the 25-year-old has put up a 3.19 ERA, 2.28 xERA, 1.19 WHIP, 30.8% strikeout rate, and 15.4% walk rate through 31 innings this season. While we're only six starts deep, it's rare that someone with such errant control is enjoying this much success.

At his best, Gil is near-unhittable, with lights-out starts in Arizona and Baltimore this season a clear example. There's still risk in streaming this week, with Houston ranked fifth in wOBA this year despite being stuck at 15th in the league in runs scored.

His control issues make it hard to trust him, but at this point, you are leaving too much on the table with Gil.

Kyle Gibson (22% Rostered), St. Louis Cardinals

Scheduled Starts: vs. NYM, @ MIL

Kyle Gibson has been on quite the heater recently, with a 1.42 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 23.7% strikeout rate in his last three starts -- stymying quality opponents in the Diamondbacks, Brewers, and Tigers. The Brewers will get another shot at Gibson later this week, but if the 36-year-old disposes of an 18th-ranked Mets offense (by runs scored), the momentum might be enough to stonewall a menacing Milwaukee offense again. Like Gil, the 36-year-old is no sure thing, but he's enough this week.

Andrew Heaney (8% Rostered), Texas Rangers

Scheduled Starts: @ OAK, @ COL

With a 5.10 ERA, 4.77 FIP, and 46% opponent hard-hit rate, Andrew Heaney rarely comes into streaming consideration. However, with Oakland and Colorado on the slate this week, it may be his time.

Maybe we shouldn't hold him to his 5.10 ERA, as a 7.63 ERA in four starts against the Houston Astros, Atlanta Braves, and an awoken Seattle Mariners offense should be the expected result from a back-end starter. He's also done well in his two starts against lower-tier offenses, with two earned runs allowed across 11 2/3 innings against the Tampa Bay Rays and Washington Nationals.

While the Athletics have been oddly trending up (7-3 in their last 10 games), they still rank only 19th in scoring during this hot streak. A Coors start presents danger, but the Rockies' .708 OPS at home would only boost them to 14th in the league for OPS. Additionally, Heaney's much-maligned home run problem is mostly concerned with the no-doubter home runs he has allowed this season, so his HR risk does not change much when moved to Coors.

Heaney has a good shot at two quality starts this week, which is more than enough to stream.

Risky Two-Start Streamer Picks

Tyler Anderson (38% Rostered), Los Angeles Angels

Scheduled Starts: @ PIT, vs. KC

With a 2.23 ERA through his first six starts, it may be tempting to declare Anderson a safe stream. However, an 18.5% strikeout rate, 10.3% walk rate, and 4.76 FIP make it easy to leave Anderson alone with a match-up against a top-10 Royals offense (by runs scored).

Sean Manaea (26% Rostered), New York Mets

Scheduled Starts: @ STL, vs. ATL

Sean Manaea is still rolling, lowering his ERA to 3.07 after a fantastic start against the Chicago Cubs. While he's been hard to beat, his 14.1% walk rate puts him in big trouble in his second start this week against the Atlanta Braves.

Logan Allen (23% Rostered), Cleveland Guardians

Scheduled Starts: vs. DET, @ CHW

There hasn't been much to cheer about when Logan T. Allen has stepped on a mound this year, with a 5.11 ERA, 4.97 FIP, and 19.4% strikeout rate through seven starts. While he was smacked around by some of the league's best offenses (Houston Astros, Atlanta Braves, New York Yankees), he was also battered by the league's worst -- with his worst start coming against the White Sox (five runs allowed in four innings). He'll get a chance to redeem himself this week, but his track record doesn't suggest he will.

Colin Rea (12% Rostered), Milwaukee Brewers

Scheduled Starts: @ KC, vs. STL

Colin Rea has surprised many this season with his 2.67 ERA and three wins through six starts. However, a 4.77 FIP, 16% strikeout rate, and an 88.6% left-on-base rate for the 33-year-old forebodes collapse. He's staved off fate for a month now, but a top-10 Royals offense (by runs scored) makes it hard to give Rea the benefit of the doubt this week.

Miles Mikolas (9% Rostered), St. Louis Cardinals

Scheduled Starts: vs. NYM, @ MIL

Miles Mikolas (5.68 ERA/4.71 FIP) hasn't shown nearly enough to even consider streaming him this week.

Simeon Woods Richardson (7% Rostered), Minnesota Twins

Scheduled Starts: vs. SEA, @ TOR

A 2.45 ERA and 2.18 FIP through three starts for 23-year-old Simeon Woods Richardson is nothing to scoff at. However, the Detroit Tigers and Chicago White Sox aren't the toughest challengers. While Toronto and Seattle aren't exactly world-beaters themselves, they're a big step up from the Tigers and White Sox. Give him a little more time against MLB-caliber squads before trusting him with the stream.
