Should I Start Tony Pollard for Fantasy Football?

The Dallas Cowboys running back saw 11 carries for 52 yards while also catching two of his three targets for five receiving yards in the Week 15 loss to the Buffalo Bills. This now marks back-to-back weeks where Pollard didn't score after having three straight games with a touchdown in Weeks 11 through 13.

In Week 16, the Cowboys will face off against the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins currently sit fourth in the NFL in fewest yards per rush allowed to opposing offenses at 3.7. However, coming off a weaker performance all-around for the Cowboys, one would expect the entire team to bounce back in a high-scoring contest in Miami. Fantasy managers should view Pollard as a high-end RB2 play this week.

He is the RB6 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.

Should I Start Garrett Wilson for Fantasy Football?

The New York Jets wide receiver had a very poor performance, totaling just three of his four targets for a quiet 29 yards in the Week 15 blowout loss to the Miami Dolphins. Wilson has had a roller coaster of a season for fantasy owners, which leaves many concerned about which Wilson is going to show out for the Jets come Week 16. We have seen time and time again where the Jets' wideout sees very few targets one week but then will see a completely different workload in the following week. Wilson has seen seven games this season where his quarterback has targeted him double-digit times.

In Week 16, the Jets will go up against the Washington Commanders. The Commanders have struggled all year when it comes to defending the passing game. Washington currently sits third in the NFL in most receiving yards allowed and first in the NFL in allowing receiving touchdowns this season. This of course draws a fantastic matchup for Wilson, who is looking to bounce back after a poor Week 15 performance. A high ceiling may not be there for Wilson, but fantasy managers should expect a solid floor from the wideout and can be viewed as a WR3 in Week 16.

He is the WR21 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.

Should I Start Courtland Sutton for Fantasy Football?

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton has been a real surprise this season for fantasy managers as the wideout now has 58 catches for 770 yards and 10 touchdowns this year. However, in Week 15, it seemed to be one of the few weeks where Sutton didn't see a touchdown, but still had a solid outing by totaling five catches for 71 yards in the Week 15 loss to the Detroit Lions. Sutton has grown to be quarterback Russell Wilson's number one receiving option and will look to continue that as the season comes to an end.

In Week 16, the Broncos will face off against the New England Patriots. The Patriots currently sit 14th in the NFL in fewest receiving yards allowed per game and has done well against receiving touchdowns as well as they have only let up 17 this season. Fantasy managers can view Sutton as a WR3 against Denver.

He is the WR23 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
