Garrett Wilson's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 15 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Garrett Wilson for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end WR2
ANALYSIS: New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson currently holds the WR23 spot in PPR formats this season, boasting an average of 13.6 points per game. Despite the challenges faced by the Jets' offense, particularly at the quarterback position, the 23-year-old has proven to be a reliable option, driven by consistent volume. Wilson has garnered at least seven targets in every game since Week 1, with 10 or more targets in seven of the last nine games.
Given the Jets' tendency to play catch-up and emphasize targeting their young star receiver, Wilson is positioned as a solid volume-based play. Notably, he is coming off a season-high performance with 108 yards against Houston in Week 15.
In Week 15, the Jets face the Dolphins, a team that allows the 14th-most points per game to receivers this season. The previous matchup between the Jets and Dolphins took place on Black Friday in Week 12, where Wilson recorded seven catches on 10 targets for 44 yards and a touchdown with Tim Boyle at quarterback.
Although the Dolphins' pass defense ranks in the top 10 in dropback EPA/play and has seen improvements with the addition of star cornerback Jalen Ramsey, the expectation is that the Dolphins will likely control the game, forcing the Jets into frequent passing situations. This scenario positions Wilson as a volume-based WR2 option for Week 15.
