Trey McBride's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 15 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Trey McBride for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1
ANALYSIS: Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride has emerged as a rising star in the latter part of the season, posting 20 or more PPR points in three of the last six games. The 24-year-old has consistently received at least seven targets in every game since Kyler Murray's return and achieved his season-high 131-yard performance in Week 10 with Murray under center. With the Cardinals' passing attack significantly improved from earlier in the year and McBride being a key target in it, he holds considerable value for fantasy managers.
In Week 15, the Cardinals face the 49ers, a team that has allowed the fourth-fewest points per game to tight ends this season. San Francisco has benefited somewhat from not playing the top-tier tight ends. One of the better tight ends in T.J. Hockenson caught 11 passes for 86 yards, showing they might be more vulnerable than their ranking suggests. The 49ers are currently on an impressive streak and are likely to handle the Cardinals well, potentially putting Arizona in a position to play from behind and chase points. Despite the challenging matchup, McBride remains a solid start in all formats, given his status as a top target in the improved Arizona passing attack featuring Murray.
