ANALYSIS: Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase has been very hit-or-miss in 2023, reflecting the team's quarterback situation directly. With Joe Burrow starting the year banged up and now being out entirely, the 23-year-old has faced challenges in consistently putting up points this season.
In his first full game with Jake Browning, the LSU alum managed four catches on six targets for 81 yards. The big-play ability and talent remain, but the dramatically lowered ceiling of the Bengals' passing attack has impacted his production. In Week 13, the Bengals take on the Jaguars, who allow the 10th-most points per game to receivers this season. While he may not dominate every week - and his fantasy floor and ceiling are lower with Burrow sidelined - Chase still belongs in most lineups.
