Tucker Kraft is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for tight ends. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 13 of the 2023 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 1% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave had a solid rookie campaign, but he's now on the IR with an abdomen injury, with a return this season in doubt.
Musgrave's absence this week against the Lions opened up a little room for Tucker Kraft to see the field, as he ended up playing a season-high 54 snaps, which accounted for 96% of Green Bay's offensive plays. Kraft was targeted just twice in the game, but he made the most of those targets, catching both for 15 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy managers who really need help at tight end could take a look at Tucker Kraft off the waiver wire, though it'd be risky to play him in Week 13. The Packers have a lot of mouths to feed in the passing game, so we'd need to see at least another week of increased production for Kraft before recommending him as a fantasy starting option.
Go ahead and add Tucker Kraft because of his upside, but temper your expectations considering he has just seven receptions for 58 yards all season. The rookie out of South Dakota State is an intriguing prospect, but he's still fairly raw and is the fourth or fifth option when he's on the football field.
