NFL DFS Rankings for DraftKings, FanDuel - Week 11 Picks for Cash and GPP Contests

Amon-Ra St. Brown - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

I’m not going to lie, it’s been really fun not having some of the big teams on the main slates the last few weeks. This week, we lose the Chiefs, Bengals, Ravens, Eagles, and Vikings from the main slate and I honestly don’t care. This is a fun slate of games with many stackable spots so we don’t even need those other teams. Give me Jordan Love, give me Sam Howell, YOLO, right?

Seriously though, there are still a ton of great teams in great spots on this slate like the Dolphins, Lions, 49ers, Texans, and Cowboys. You won’t be hurting to find spend-up spots, and hopefully, some value will open up as the week rolls on. Keep in mind your secondary stack and bring-back options, as those plays can often be overlooked when people are too focused on their main stacks. Sometimes, as you’ll see later, it’s not a bad idea to use some value as your main stack and fill in with high-priced, high-ceiling secondary stacks.

I’m super excited for Week 11, but my goal is to create a hierarchy of plays so you know who to prioritize when building your lineups! Remember that this article is written on a Tuesday, so please make sure to check in with our Discord for any updates as practice reports come in throughout the week and a clearer picture starts to come into view. DraftKings NFL DFS Cash Rankings - Quarterbacks

1. Brock Purdy (San Francisco 49ers - $5,800)

Outside of two rough weeks, Brock Purdy has been a rock-solid fantasy quarterback option the entire season. He has scored over 20 DraftKings points in more than half of his starts, and has scored less than 14 DraftKings points only once all season. That is the kind of floor we are looking for in cash games.

This week, he is at home and gets to face a Buccaneers defense that has been thrown on pretty consistently all year long. You don’t run on Tampa Bay, and Christian McCaffrey has struggled his entire career against the Buccaneers, so the 49ers are going to have to throw here.

Purdy is a different quarterback when Deebo Samuel is on the field, and we saw a return to excellence last week with almost 300 yards passing and three touchdowns against the Jaguars. It is not out of the realm of possibility that he achieves those thresholds again this weekend. For only $5800, he presents as an extreme value at a position where we can save that money to use on a high-end wide receiver like Amon-Ra St. Brown.

Sunday update: Purdy projects to be the chalk option in cash at quarterback this weekend and I'm fine with that. Some of the more expensive options may have a bigger upside, but I'm looking for the highest floor at the cheapest price and that's Purdy. I'd rather spend my money on a second high-end wide receiver than grab a guy like Kyler Murray or Sam Howell, both of whom have a lower floor than Purdy.

2. Kyler Murray (Arizona Cardinals - $6,100)

3. Jared Goff (Detroit Lions - $6,600)

Others in consideration: Sam Howell, C.J. Stroud

DraftKings NFL DFS GPP Rankings - Quarterbacks

1. C.J. Stroud (Houston Texans - $7,000)

It’s time to accept the fact that C.J. Sroud is a special player. He’s been putting up numbers all year long, scoring 20 or more DraftKings points in half of his career games. His wide receiving corps has been outstanding, with Noah Brown and Tank Dell far exceeding expectations. The Arizona Cardinals struggle more against the run than the pass, but they’ve still allowed big numbers to several passing games this season.

Overall, they’ve given up an average of almost 26 real-life points per game this season, allowing less than 20 points just once all year. Even with Stroud getting priced up, you can still stack him with two receivers (or Dalton Schultz) relatively cheaply, and with Kyler Murray back on the field for the Cardinals, there are many viable bring-back plays. Using this stack gives you enough cap flexibility to still use a high-cost secondary stack, which many top stacks won’t allow.

2. Dak Prescott (Dallas Cowboys - $7,300)

3. Jared Goff (Detroit Lions - $6,600)

Others in consideration: Tua Tagovailoa, Sam Howell, Kyler Murray, Brock Purdy, Jordan Love

DraftKings NFL DFS Cash Rankings - Running Backs

1. Austin Ekeler (Los Angeles Chargers - $8,600)

This is a great week for running backs, but a lot of those plays profile more as GPP options, so I want to lock in a high floor in cash and am willing to pay a price to get there. Austin Ekeler has been on fire for the last three weeks, scoring over 20 DraftKings points in each of those games despite not having anything close to an explosive showing. He gets there through passing game volume and a nose for the end zone. He’s scored four touchdowns and has seen 22 targets in those three games; a cheat code for the running back position.

This week, he gets to face a Packers defense that can’t stop anyone in the running game. Green Bay allowed Jaylen Warren and Najee Harris to combine for 40 DraftKings points last weekend; their third game this year allowing over 200 yards rushing. Adding in a strong rushing matchup only further boosts Ekeler’s floor.

Sunday update: My builds are leading me more toward Brian Robinson Jr. and Devin Singletary as I've prioritized higher-end wide receivers. That said, if I was spending up at running back, it would be for Ekeler without question.

2. Brian Robinson Jr. (Washington Commanders - $5,800)

3. Devin Singletary (Houston Texans - $5,300)

Others in consideration: Jerome Ford, Breece Hall

DraftKings NFL DFS GPP Rankings - Running Backs

1. Jahmyr Gibbs (Detroit Lions - $7,000)

There are many reasons to fade Jahmyr Gibbs this weekend. David Montgomery will be playing in his second game back from injury, and he was the lead back before that injury. The Lions' passing game is going to be very popular against a Bears defense that is stout against the run. Gibbs is priced as high as he’s been all year, living in the land of the running back elite now. Those reasons should help keep Gibbs’ ownership down, and that could be a huge mistake.

He’s been outstanding since Montgomery’s injury, and even with the former Bear back in the lineup last weekend, it was Gibbs who saw the most work and the most touches in the red zone. This is a very similar situation to what’s going on in Miami with De'Von Achane and Raheem Mostert; the veteran wears down the defense and the young stud comes in and lights up the scoreboard. Gibbs has scored 26 or more DraftKings points in three straight games and has five or more passing targets in four straight games. He’s not going anywhere, and with his game-breaking ability, he doesn’t need a high volume of touches to pay off.

2. De'Von Achane (Miami Dolphins - $6,600)

3. Breece Hall (New York Jets - $6,400)

Others in consideration: Tony Pollard, Christian McCaffrey, Austin Ekeler, James Cook, Brian Robinson Jr., James Conner, Darrell Henderson, Aaron Jones

DraftKings NFL DFS Cash Rankings - Wide Receivers

1. Amon-Ra St. Brown (Detroit Lions - $8,800)

It’s going to be very difficult to fit both Austin Ekeler and Amon-Ra St. Brown into your cash game lineups this weekend, but the floor they both give you makes it worthwhile to jam them in. The Sun God has been insane this year, scoring 16 or more DraftKings points in every game he’s played.

Few receivers have shown that level of consistency, and while he hasn’t shown the ceiling that CeeDee Lamb or Tyreek Hill have shown, that floor is worth paying up for. It’s not like St. Brown doesn’t have some ceiling, as he’s scored 26 or more fantasy points in three of his last four games. He’s a lock for seven or more targets, and his matchup is outstanding. Pay up and figure out your value elsewhere.

2. Tank Dell (Houston Texans - $5,900)

3. Tyreek Hill (Miami Dolphins - $9,300)

Others in consideration: Rondale Moore, DJ Moore, Robert Woods, Christian Kirk, Garrett Wilson, Chris Godwin

DraftKings NFL DFS GPP Rankings - Wide Receivers

1. Jayden Reed (Green Bay Packers - $4,000)

No, I don’t think that Jayden Reed is going to be the highest-scoring wide receiver on the slate this weekend. He’s here because I want to talk about a Green Bay/Los Angeles Chargers game stack and this was the best place to do it. There’s a lot to like on this slate, from Detroit to Houston to Dallas to San Francisco but that doesn’t mean that you have to use those games as your main stack. It could pay off in a big way if you used a less expensive main stack, like the Packers, and get your exposure to those other games through your secondary stacks.

Jordan Love hasn’t shown to be a great real-life quarterback, but he’s been pretty good for fantasy so far. He’s kept me in playoff contention in Scott Fish Bowl as my QB1 (I went with a zero QB strategy), and in DFS he’s been usable in 44% of his starts this year (I consider 18 or more fantasy points as usable for a quarterback).

Jayden Reed has been one of his favorite targets recently, with double-digit fantasy points in three of the last four weeks. Reed has seen four or more targets in eight of nine games, so his volume is very projectable. Stack Reed with Love and either Romeo Doubs or Luke Musgrave and bring it back with Austin Ekeler and you’ve got around $6,000 left per player for the rest of your team. That allows one big secondary stack and one value stack, or two mid-range secondary stacks. Don’t overlook these types of value stacks.

2. Amon-Ra St. Brown (Detroit Lions - $8,800)

3. Tank Dell (Houston Texans - $5,900)

Others in consideration: Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill, CeeDee Lamb, Brandon Aiyuk, Garrett Wilson, Robert Woods, Christian Kirk, DJ Moore

DraftKings NFL DFS Rankings - Tight Ends

1. Trey McBride (Arizona Cardinals - $4,400)

Why mess with a good thing? Trey McBride has established himself as a prime target in the Cardinals passing game and now they have an actual quarterback throwing him the ball. Last week, Kyler Murray targeted him nine times and McBride responded with eight catches and 131 yards. He was regularly the first look for Murray and he showed a great ability to get open in space along the seam.

You’d expect the Cardinals to have to throw against a high-powered Houston offense, so there’s no reason to believe that McBride’s volume will take any hit this week. The Texans allowed decent games to tight ends the last few weeks, so it’s not just a game script that plays in his favor; this is an actual good matchup. He’s a perfect bring-back to a Houston stack that won’t cost you too much of your cap space.

Sunday update: While McBride is probably the safest option for cash at his price, my builds are leading me more toward Pat Freiermuth at the flat minimum price of $2,500. It's not generally a great idea to take such a risk in cash games, but we know what 'Muth can do and he's just not a minimum-priced player. The Browns are an outstanding defense, but three catches for 40 yards gets you to value and the $1,900 that's saved by pivoting off McBride allows for a second spend-up option at wide receiver. Tyreek Hill + Pat Freiermuth feels like a better option than any mid-range wide receiver + Trey McBride.

2. Pat Freiermuth (Pittsburgh Steelers - $2,500)

3. Tyler Conklin (New York Jets - $2,900)

Others in consideration: George Kittle, Dalton Kincaid, Ian Thomas, Logan Thomas, Luke Musgrave, Cole Kmet, Tyler Higbee

DraftKings NFL DFS Rankings - D/ST

1. New York Jets- $2,600

The Jets' defense is not the reason they are losing games. They have held Buffalo, Kansas City, the Chargers, and Philadelphia in check. There’s no reason to think that they won’t be able to do it again to turnover-prone Josh Allen and the Buffalo offense. The Jets do the one thing we want from a defense, and that’s put pressure on the quarterback. They have three or more sacks in four of their last five games and have scored seven or more DraftKings points in 78% of their games this year. That’s more than enough for only $2,600.

2. Houston Texans - $3,000

3. Dallas Cowboys - $4,100
