The Boston Red Sox fired pitching coach Dave Bush and third-base coach Carlos Febles on Monday following a third last-place finish in the American League East in the last four seasons. Bush had been the team's pitching coach since the 2020 season after previously working three years as the team's minor-league pitching coordinator. Bush pitched nine seasons in the big leagues with the Toronto Blue Jays, Milwaukee Brewers and Texas Rangers before starting his coaching career. The Red Sox's pitching staff had a 4.52 ERA this year, which ranked 21st overall in MLB. Febles joined Boston in 2007 and took over as the third-base coach in 2018 when the team won the World Series. He was also an infield instructor, but the Red Sox committed the second-most errors (102) in all of baseball in 2023.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
