DraftKings NBA Summer League Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (7/13/23): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

The Las Vegas Summer League continues with eight more games but only four games for the evening slate. So, we'll be taking a look at the later four-game slate for DraftKings DFS managers. As the summer league keeps going, the choices become more difficult because we have to dig into the nitty gritty names that a lot of people won't even remember after the offseason.

One thing to look for during any summer league game is whether or not the most experienced players are going to get minutes for any specific night. Big-name rookies from last season are dominating this time around as their confidence has grown, so they're going to be the best bet if managers want to spend big money on one or two players. Outside of them, we're going to take a look at some fresh, new faces that are playing their way onto a roster.

This article will highlight some DraftKings NBA Summer League daily fantasy options to consider for Thursday, July 13, 2023. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool. Good luck, RotoBallers!

DraftKings Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Anthony Black, PG - ORL vs POR ($9,000)

Black is the only one of the top three most expensive guards that are likely to actually play in tonight's slate of games. With that being said, he also provides some surefire DK points due to his outstanding rebounding ability as a guard while still showing some very good defensive instincts.

The 19-year-old rookie is still finding his shooting stroke, but he's averaging 8.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game. Against a Trail Blazers team that may not have Scoot Henderson due to his shoulder injury, it could be even easier to find some open shots. In his previous game, Black only scored eight points but ended with 35 DK points, so add some actual scoring to his stat lines and he's well into the 40s.

Brandon Williams, PG/SG - MIN @ SAC ($7,600)

Out of the non-established players in the summer league, Williams has one of the highest points per game totals while keeping his turnovers down at 1.7 per contest. The 23-year-old did play in 24 games for the Trail Blazers last year while starting in 16 of them, but he's still not established in terms of finding a steady home on an NBA roster.

He's dramatically increased his shooting percentages from last year's summer league and has also improved his assist-to-turnover ratio which is currently hovering around 4-to-1. Williams can get you a lot of positives without anywhere near the negatives of a lot of turnover-prone prospects.

Matthew Mayer, SG/SF - HOU @ GSW ($5,800)

I'm sure there are a lot of confused looks and scrolling through DraftKings rosters to see if this Mayer guy is real. To reassure you, he's very much a real player and he's fresh off of his first summer league action where he dropped 19 points, 10 rebounds, one assist, and two blocks on very good efficiency which equated to 38.5 DK points.

He's only going to get more playing time as the summer league rolls on because Jabari Smith Jr., Tari Eason, and Amen Thompson are all out for the rest of the summer. He received 29 minutes in his first game against Oklahoma City and he should see around the same amount on Thursday.

Also Consider: Michael Devoe ($8,500), Lester Quinones ($8,400), Dereon Seabron ($7,100), Kevon Harris ($6,100), D.J. Carton ($5,300)

DraftKings Forwards/Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Brandon Miller, SF - CHA @ NOP ($9,400)

Miller has been steadily improving with every game this summer. As the number-two pick, his expectations have been through the roof, and at first, he had a lot of people talking about being a bust. Now, as his confidence grows, his game has been looking smooth and comfortable.

His price point is cheap compared to the other big-named forwards and over the last couple of games, Miller has outperformed Dyson Daniels who is currently priced at $10,300. The rookie is starting to attack the rim more often, find his spots with ease, and use his athleticism to just outplay any defender in his way. His efficiency took a big jump in his latest game as he shot 8-for-15 from the floor and 3-for-6 from deep on top of hitting all seven of his free throw attempts.

Duop Reath, PF/C - POR @ ORL ($6,700)

Reath is another name that has gone under the radar despite his solid all-around play while playing only 21.2 minutes per contest so far. He's averaging 29.0 DK points per game which is just shy of Gui Santos' 30.5 and Reath is $800 cheaper. His playing time also seems to be on the rise as the Trail Blazers make some lineup changes to get a better look at their prospects.

The 27-year-old out of LSU is dangerously close to averaging a double-double this summer as he sits at 11.7 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. In his latest matchup, he even added two assists, two blocks, and two steals which play well into his already solid two-way playstyle.

Reggie Perry, PF/C - GSW vs HOU ($5,700)

Perry is my favorite value play so far throughout this summer. He's had a little bit of NBA experience after playing in 36 total games with Brooklyn, Portland, and Indiana, and he spent last season in the G League averaging 20.7 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.

In his two Vegas summer league games, he's been a freight train which makes it very convenient that the foul limit has been raised(6.5 fouls per game). Last game, he put up 20 points, 17 rebounds, three assists, and one block while shooting 7-for-9 overall, knocked down one three, and hit five of his six free throws. Perry is going to see some more time as the Warriors will want to see if they can add a young forward to the mix as their roster is aging.

Also Consider: Cam Whitmore ($9,300), Josh Minott ($8,700), Gui Santos ($7,500), Jermaine Samuels ($5,600) Garrison Brooks ($5,300)
