WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks (7/11/23): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings, FanDuel

WNBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball stock

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for 7/11/23. Expert WNBA DFS advice for DraftKings, FanDuel.

We've got two WNBA games on Tuesday night, with the Storm and Mystics kicking things off at 7 p.m. ET, followed by the Mercury and Aces at 10 p.m. On paper, it isn't a great day of games, as the league's two worst teams are both on the road. But that Seattle/Washington one could get interesting, as the Mystics won't have Elena Delle Donne for it.

If you're looking for WNBA daily fantasy picks and some betting advice this season, then you're in the right place. I'll be here providing picks for any slate with two or more games.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel. These lineup picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. The slates lock on 7/11/2023 at 7:00 PM ET. Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA DFS Picks: Forward

A'ja Wilson (Las Vegas Aces)  - vs. PHO - DK: $12,400, FD: $9,200

Wilson, last year's MVP, had a strong showing on Sunday against the Lynx, as she scored 15 points on 6-for-8 shooting to go along with 10 rebounds, three assists, four blocks, and three steals. It was the third time in four games that she's pulled down double-digit rebounds, and her third game in a row with multiple blocks.

The last time she faced the Mercury, Wilson had a double-double, scoring 20 points on 7-for-12 shooting and grabbing 12 boards. Arguably the WNBA's best player, Wilson makes a great anchoring point for your lineup on Tuesday's two-game slate, especially with Elena Delle Donne out and Jewell Loyd potentially hampered by an ankle injury she suffered late in Saturday's game against the Liberty.

Tianna Hawkins (Washington Mystics)  - vs. SEA - DK: $7,400, FD: $5,400

With Shakira Austin out, Hawkins has given the Mystics some really good minutes. And last game, with Delle Donne limited, she showed that she can still score the ball.

Hawkins had 24 points on 10-for-12 shooting against the Sun, marking her first 20-point game since last June. She also grabbed four rebounds and added two assists, one block, and two steals. The Mystics are dealing with a lot of injury concerns right now, which makes Hawkins their best frontcourt scoring option. She's delivered in that role thus far.

Queen Egbo (Washington Mystics)  - vs. SEA - DK: $4,000, FD: $4,400

Egbo's salary actually dropped a bit after her last game, despite the fact that she established in that one why the Mystics were right to trade for her last week. She was a +10 in the contest, scoring eight points on 3-f0r-6 shooting and pulling down seven rebounds while also adding an assist and a block.

With Delle Donne set to miss this game, I expect the Mystics to find a few more minutes for Egbo. At this price point, if she can go out there, play with energy, and crash the boards like she did against Connecticut, you'll likely be happy with the result.

WNBA DFS Picks: Guard

Brittney Sykes (Washington Mystics)  - vs. SEA - DK: $9,500, FD:  $6,900

Game after game, Brittney Sykes fills up the stat sheet. On Sunday against the Sun, she scored in double figures for the sixth game in a row, putting up 14 on 6-for-12 shooting. She also added one rebound, seven assists, one block, and three steals.

The one rebound ended a streak of four games in a row with four or more boards for the guard, but she made up for that with the assists, her most since June 28. She also extended her streak of games with at least one steal to, well...to every single game this season. Sykes is such an active defender, which allows her to come away with swipes every time out.

The last time she faced the Storm, Sykes had a letdown game, scoring just seven points on 1-for-8 shooting. I'm fairly confident that was just a blip though. The Storm allow the second-most points per game in the WNBA at 86.1 per contest, and with no Elena Delle Donne in this one, the team will ask its guards to do more scoring.

Kelsey Plum (Las Vegas Aces)  - vs. PHO - DK: $8,400, FD: $5,900

Plum is coming off arguably the best game of her career, as she scored a franchise-record 40 points on 14-for-18 shooting in Sunday's win over the Lynx. She was 6-for-9 from deep and also added two rebounds and four assists.

But this recommendation is about more than one game. It's about a trend with Plum's game lately, as it marked the third game in a row that Plum had scored 20-plus points, and the fourth in a row that she's shot at least 50% from the floor.

Plum's shot was off earlier in the year, but since June 8, she's only had one game where she didn't shoot 50% from the floor. She's back, and her DFS salary definitely does not reflect the extent to which she's back. Great value here.

Moriah Jefferson (Phoenix Mercury)  - @ LV - DK: $7,700, FD: $6,200

Jefferson has scored in double figures in three of the past four games, and she had at least six assists in those three games as well. Take out her poor 18 minutes against the Lynx and you see a player who has been trending up.

Last game, Jefferson had 11 points on 4-for-10 shooting, plus added eight assists and five steals. She now has at least one steal in six consecutive contests. She's also made at least one three in four consecutive games. She had 12 points in her last meeting with the Aces.
