MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Triston McKenzie OVER 5.5 strikeouts (-125 DraftKings Sportsbook)
This is a solid prop on McKenzie as he has gone over this total in five of his previous eight starts and three of his previous five starts. He will be facing the Red Sox in this one who have been struggling mightily against right-handed pitching as they have posted a K rate of nearly 30% over the previous two weeks, which is ranked dead last in baseball.

K props are a bit tough this morning, and this one is a bit of an odds play at the moment, but Wheller is certainly capable of getting to seven here. Although he has failed to reach seven strikeouts in his previous four outings, Wheeler has reached this number in 10 starts on the season. He will be facing the Pirates who are posting the seventh-highest (25%) K rate vs. righties over the previous two weeks while also posting just a 6.5% walk rate and 63 wRC+ mark over that same span.

Meanwhile, Ohtani has posted a .922 OPS with 17 home runs and 12 doubles against right-handed pitching this season.
