NCAA Tournament DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks for 3/19 - March Madness Daily Fantasy

Chet Holmgren daily college fantasy basketball CFB DFS picks March Madness - rotoballer icon

Today's DraftKings NCAA Tournament DFS lineup picks for college basketball on 3/19/22. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice for 2022 March Madness.

We are down to 32 teams left that have a shot at the NCAA title. We continue whittling it down with eight more games today. Baylor and North Carolina begin the day just after noon. Kansas and Creighton then take center stage after that one is done. Those four teams don't have to share the glory.

The action ramps up in the evening with Michigan taking on Tennessee and Richmond taking on Providence in the same hour. UCLA takes on St. Mary's and the Peacocks of St. Peter's take on Murray State in the 7pm hour. We end the night with Arkansas and New Mexico State and Gonzaga taking on Memphis. This is going to be another great one!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/19/22 starting at 12:10 pm Eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings DFS Guards - NCAA Tournament

Andrew Nembhard, Gonzaga ($8,300)

Nembhard only scored nine points in the opening round win over Georgia State, but he put up 35 DraftKings points. He stuffs the stat sheets despite not scoring a ton of points. There are plenty of players on this team that can score. Not all of them can find the right pass like Nembhard can, nor is their defense up to the level of him. His ceiling isn't all that high here, but this is going to be a defensive battle for both teams. Nembhard is a safe play here with decent upside.

Jacob Gilyard, Richmond ($7,600)

Gilyard didn't come off the court in the upset of Iowa and went for 41 DraftKings points and his price dropped. In fact, the last time that Gilyard didn't play all 40 minutes of a game was back on February 22 when he played 39 minutes against George Washington. Providence is arguably an easier matchup for Gilyard. He was doing work against the Hawkeyes and will be front and center again tonight. He plays more minutes than anyone else in the college game.

Teddy Allen, New Mexico State ($7,300)

If you want to know why the Aggies upset UConn, just look at the game Allen had. He poured in 37 points (54 DraftKings points) in 39 minutes of action. The Razorbacks like to get up and down the court as well. It's going to take another game like that from Allen for the Aggies to advance to the second weekend. That's unlikely, but Allen isn't priced so crazily that he's not worth taking a flier on. If the Aggies hang around, Allen might have the highest ceiling on the slate thanks to the outlandish usage rate.

Remy Martin, Kansas ($5,400)

Martin was a star at Arizona State last year, but injuries have kept him from really having an impact with the Jayhawks this year. That changed in the Big 12(10) Tournament. Martin played big and important minutes – the minutes that were previously going to Dajuan Harris – when needed against TCU and Texas Tech. Martin put up 48.25 DraftKings points in 45 minutes in the semis and finals of the Big 12(10) Tournament. He added to that with 26.75 DraftKinsg points in just 21 minutes against Texas Southern. Martin can still have a big impact even though his price jumped $1000.

Daryl Banks, St. Peter's ($4,600)

Banks was the reason that the Peacocks took out the mighty Wildcats. He racked up 27 points against Kentucky and his price barely moved. I'm buying the bargain here. It's unfair to expect another game like the Kentucky game, but he should still be able to produce plenty to hit value at this price. There is a lot of upside here.

Also consider: James Akinjo, Baylor ($8,100); Tevin Brown, Murray State ($7,700); Justice Hill, Murray State ($6,900); Logan Johnson, St. Marys ($6,700); Landers Nolley, Memphis ($5,700); Trey Alexander, Creighton ($5,700); Doug Edert, St. Peter's ($4,300); Frankie Collins, Michigan ($4,200)

DraftKings DFS Forwards - NCAA Tournament

Chet Holmgren, Gonzaga ($9,100)

Memphis has the size to keep Holmgren from hauling in 17 rebounds again, but the scoring and assists should still be there. Cut the block total in half from the first round game and it's still a strong line from Holmgren. I trust him more than Bacot against the rough-and-tumble Baylor defense. Gonzaga was sleepwalking through the first 30 minutes of the first round game. I expect them to come out swinging tonight.

Jaime Jaquez, UCLA ($7,500)

Jaquez has caught fire at the right time. He has 244 DraftKings points over the last six games. Arizona was the only team able to cool him off from the floor in that span, but he made up for it by hauling in ten boards. Jaquez is the propeller for UCLA right now. Even in an ugly game against Akron, Jaquez racked up 41.25 DraftKings points despite only hitting three of ten shots. He's the best option for UCLA right now.

Jalen Duren, Memphis ($6,600)

Duren is going to be a matchup problem for Gonzaga. He feels cheap in this price range. He has three double-doubles in the last four games and has at least 25 DraftKings points in all of those. I have a bit of concern that Gonzaga is going to have a fire under them after the underwhelming performance against Georgia State. Still, Duren's price point is low enough that he's worth the risk.

Arthur Kaluma, Creighton ($5,700)

The Blue Jays are now down Ryan Kalkbrenner as well. That means a lot more minutes for guys like Rati Andronikasvili and Keyshawn Feazell (if you're desperate). They can be used if you're desperate, but I much prefer Kaluma. Kaluma already has at least 20 DraftKings points in four straight games and he played a staggering 44 minutes against The Aztecs. He's going to play almost the entire game again and he's very reasonably priced.

DJ Burns, Murray State ($5,200)

Despite what the Peacocks did to Kentucky and Oscar Tshiebwe, this is still a good matchup on paper for the Racers. Burns has double-digit DraftKings points in seven of the last eight games. He's constantly in foul trouble, so that will cap his upside. However, he does contribute in multiple categories when he's in there. There's not a lot of value at the bottom of forwards tonight unless you want to play Creighton roulette. We have to take what we can get.

Also consider: Armando Bacot, North Carolina ($9,200);Drew Timme, Gonzaga ($7,800); Tyler Burton, Richmond ($7,300); Ryan Hawkins, Creighton ($6,500); Flo Thamba, Baylor ($6,000); Nathan Cayo, Richmond ($5,400); John Fulkerson, Tennessee ($5,100); Cody Riley, UCLA ($4,400)
