Today, we review the third base position and break it all down with our 2025 fantasy baseball third base rankings and tiers for 5x5 mixed roto leagues. Third base has more talent and is a little deeper in years past. Once again, Cleveland Guardians superstar Jose Ramirez leads the way, followed by Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Jazz Chisholm Jr.
Ramirez is our top-ranked 3B and a consensus top-five pick after slashing .279/.335/.537 with 39 home runs and 41 stolen bases across 681 plate appearances last season. While Ramirez leads the way, plenty of upside can also be found in the position. New York Mets third basemen Mark Vientos broke out last season after hitting 27 home runs over 111 games. Baltimore Orioles infielder Jordan Westburg was on the verge of a breakout campaign before fracturing his hand on August 1. Tampa Bay's top prospect, Junior Caminero, will be Tampa Bay's every day 3B and has massive upside if fantasy managers miss out on the top tier.
