Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 6:
Blake Corum, Los Angeles Rams
After a strong start to the 2026 season, Los Angeles Rams running back Blake Corum has regressed significantly. In the first two games, Corum had 22 carries for 131 yards, outperforming starter Kyren Williams in efficiency. Since Week 3, he has not had more than six carries in a game and has averaged just three yards per carry.
After approaching a 50/50 split near the end of the 2025 season, many expected Williams and Corum to share the workload evenly this season. Corum has played just 26% of snaps and 32% of opportunities, while Williams has played 67% of snaps and 63% of opportunities. Both face an ideal matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, who have allowed the fifth-most yards to running backs this season. However, with Williams carrying the bulk of the workload, Corum is a low-end FLEX option in Week 6.
Stefon Diggs, Washington Commanders
Washington Commanders wide receiver Stefon Diggs (hamstring) is at practice on Friday working with the rest of the receivers in individual drills, according to Zach Selby of the team's official website. Diggs injured his hamstring in the Week 4 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in London and did not play in last week's tie to the division-rival New York Giants. The 32-year-old veteran missed the first practice of the week on Thursday, but his return on Friday means that he is trending in the right direction to play on Monday night in Week 6 versus the 5-0 San Francisco 49ers.
It is good news for Washington's offense, but Diggs is going to be a tough sell for starting fantasy lineups this week if he receives a questionable tag and is a game-time decision for Monday night. He has 18 catches for 170 yards and three touchdowns in his first four games for the Commanders this year. If Diggs misses a second straight game, rookie Antonio Williams would serve in the WR2 role again behind Terry McLaurin.
Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren has become the team's featured player over the last three weeks with Rico Dowdle sidelined with a dislocated toe. Head coach Mike McCarthy called Warren "our featured player" on Monday, according to Brooke Pryor of ESPN. The 27-year-old has really stepped up for Pittsburgh's offense with more touches, going for 490 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns in the last three games on 61 touches.
McCarthy envisioned more of a 50-50 split with Warren and Dowdle going into the regular season, but Dowdle's toe injury might have McCarthy rethinking his backfield plan for the rest of the season. Dowdle has a shot to return this weekend against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road, but even if he does, Warren has worked his way into must-start status in all fantasy football leagues.
Going into Week 6, Warren has been a top-10 back with 70 carries for 410 yards and a touchdown while adding 19 receptions for 230 yards and another score through the air. The former undrafted free agent from Oklahoma State is easily on pace for his first 1,000-yard rushing season if he can stay healthy.
Keaton Mitchell, Los Angeles Chargers
Despite modest results in a Week 5 loss to the Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers running back Keaton Mitchell remains heavily involved in what has been arguably the league's most disappointing offense, pointing to potentially brighter days ahead. For the second week in a row, the Chargers leaned on a three-way backfield split, with Mitchell, Omarion Hampton, and Kimani Vidal all seeing the field for at least 20 snaps, and each seeing at least nine opportunities.
Vidal, while still the least utilized, has been the team's most efficient runner, but Mitchell remains the designated passing back, with his 14 targets through five weeks more than doubling the combined total of the other two. While the current split makes none of the Chargers' backs a reliable weekly start, Mitchell's big-play ability, coupled with multiple paths to an expanded workload, makes him a must-roster player and a waiver stash to target wherever he's still available.
D'Andre Swift, Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift (hip) is noticeably absent from the team's Week 6 injury report after being listed as a full participant in practice on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Kyle Monangai (thumb, toe) did not practice on Wednesday after sitting out the Week 5 blowout loss to the division-rival Green Bay Packers on Sunday. With Monangai sidelined, the 27-year-old Swift had only nine carries for 43 yards and a touchdown while adding four catches for 30 yards against the Packers.
The Bears falling behind by multiple scores early made it hard for Swift to make much of an impact on the ground. His touchdown and work in the passing game salvaged his performance from a fantasy perspective, and his TD on the ground was his first since scoring three times in the Week 1 blowout win over the Carolina Panthers. If Swift has the backfield all to himself again in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons on the road, he will have clear RB1 upside and will be looking for more production.
