Best Week 14 Defense Streamers - Fantasy Football DST Pickups and Starts

Buccaneers Defense - Fantasy Football DST Streamers, Defense Rankings, IDP Vita Vea

The top Week 14 defense streamers - fantasy football D/ST pickups, streamers and starts for 2025. Target these fantasy DST streaming options with strong matchups.

As we approach the final week of the fantasy football regular season, managers may need to secure a victory to earn a spot in the postseason. As a result, streaming the right defence can be the difference between you clinching or falling just short of a spot.

In this piece, we will highlight four of the top streaming options at the defense position that are available in most Yahoo! leagues.

Who should fantasy managers look to target on the waiver wire and plug into their starting lineup? Let's dive in!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Top Week 14 Defense Streamers (D/ST)

Only defenses rostered in fewer than 65% of fantasy football leagues are considered potential streamers.

Tennessee Titans at CLE
35% Rostered

The Tennessee Titans have not been a popular streaming recommendation this season, but they have a positive matchup in Week 14 that warrants consideration in deeper formats. On Sunday, they will face an inconsistent Cleveland offense led by rookie QB Shedeur Sanders. Over his first two starts, Sanders has averaged 179.0 passing yards per game and has had a 2:1 TD:INT.

During this two-game stretch, they scored 26 points in one game (thanks to two Quinshon Judkins rushing scores) but scored only eight against the 49ers last Sunday. The Titans are not coming off a strong showing against the Jaguars, but they did manage to generate pressure, forcing three sacks. Given their elite matchup, they are worth consideration.

Miami Dolphins at NYJ
25% Rostered

The Dolphins enter Week 14 as one of the hottest teams in the sport and are slowly re-entering the playoff picture. Over the last three games, they have held their opponents (Bills, Commanders, and Saints) to under 20 points in each game. Last weekend, in their victory over the Saints, the Dolphins forced four sacks and added an interception.

While the Jets are coming off one of their strong offensive showings of the season, they still enter Week 14 averaging a modest 20.5 PPG, the eighth-lowest in the league.

Washington Commanders at MIN
20% Rostered

The Commanders have not been a recommended streaming option this season, similar to the Titans, but have now an elite matchup on paper. On Sunday, they will face the Minnesota Vikings, who boast one of the sport's worst offensive units of the past few weeks. Last Sunday, with Max Brosmer under center, he tossed four interceptions and added only 126 yards.

While J.J. McCarthy (concussion) is slated to get the start, he has also struggled immensely at times and could provide Washington with an elite game script. Over his last three games, McCarthy has thrown six interceptions compared to two touchdown passes. Over his last two, he is averaging only 118.5 passing yards per game and has completed just 54.9% of his passes.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. NO
60% Rostered

The final streamer to consider is for shallower leagues, as the Buccaneers nearly make the cut to be included in this piece. The Buccaneers have a top matchup on paper as well, facing the inconsistent New Orleans Saints. Last weekend, Tyler Shough showed signs of improvement, tossing two touchdowns with 239 yards. However, he threw his second interception in as many games and was sacked four times.

While the Buccaneers surrendered a hefty 34 points to the Rams back in Week 12, they bounced back well last Sunday, holding the Cardinals to just 17. In this game, they added two sacks, forced a fumble, and tallied an interception.

Week 14 Defense Decisions. Today's focus is on specific team defenses - Tennessee Titans, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Washington Commanders. These are some of the most common searches for fantasy football lineups in Week 14.

Using The Tool. This is a simple tool, but very powerful. The first step is to enter the player names that you want to compare. In the first box, search for the first player's name. In the second box, search for the second player's name. Compare up to four NFL players at once, and then click the Who To Start? button to see who the recommended starts are based on weekly fantasy football matchups.

Improvements For Who Should I Start? You may have noticed that our Who Should I Start? tool has gotten an overhaul. We've added lots of great features for you to give you as much information as possible to win your fantasy football matchups each week. You'll see NFL player tiles with headshots and bye weeks, stats, projections, strength of schedule, player news, and enhanced search results with data to compare with a slick new interface. We hope you enjoy!

How It Works. Each week, our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings and projections based on their research. That information is the core data that is powering the decision-making in this tool. When you search for player names, you will only see those players who are ranked. If someone is out for the week, they will not appear in the search results.

Scoring Formats. Fantasy football managers play in various types of leagues, and this tool allows you to choose whether it's PPR scoring, Half-PPR scoring, or Standard (Non-PPR) scoring. The second thing you want to do is to select the scoring format. There are three small radio buttons (small circles), so click on the scoring format you prefer. The results may vary based on the scoring format you select.
