Oakland Athletics catcher Bruce Maxwell was activated off the restricted list Monday, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Maxwell was ineligible to enter into Canada due to a pending sentencing in a legal issue. Josh Phegley is being sent back down to Nashville in a corresponding move. Jonathan Lucroy remains Oakland's starting catcher.
