Braves Reinstate Austin Riley From Injured List on Friday
Austin Riley (abdomen) from the 10-day injured list and optioned infielder Nacho Alvarez Jr. to Triple-A Gwinnett in a corresponding move. Fantasy managers will want to check back later, but Riley should be right back in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener on the road in Texas against the Rangers and right-hander Nathan Eovaldi at Globe Life Field. Fantasy managers will also be hoping that Riley will pick up where he left off in July after missing the last two weeks with an abdominal injury. The 28-year-old right-handed slugger had gone 13-for-41 (.317) with two home runs, five doubles, six RBI and five runs scored in 10 games earlier this month before getting injured. Riley definitely lengthens Atlanta's lineup and gives them more punch in the middle of the order. Get him back into starting lineups.
