On Saturday's UFC 318 main card, former two-division Bellator champion Patricio Freire won his sophomore appearance in the UFC by defeating Dan Ige via unanimous decision. Not much happened in the first round, but Freire was pushing the pace. The second round started slow, but midway through the second round, "Pitbull" cracked Ige with a hard left hand, dropping him to a knee, but Ige managed to weather the storm. After three rounds, the judges scored the bout 29-28, 29-28 and 29-28 in favor of Freire. A lot of people were counting Freire out after his performance against Yair Rodriguez, but now Freire has proven that he belongs in the UFC.--Alen KurbasicRead More News
