Braelon Allen, RB, Jets

New York Jets running back Braelon Allen remains a steady on-field contributor, but won't be a viable fantasy option for Week 4's Monday night road meeting with the Miami Dolphins. The 21-year-old out-produced backfield mate Breece Hall on the ground in their loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last weekend (30-21) despite garnering three fewer carries.

He also saw a season-high in targets, reeling in both for an additional 17 yards. Still, he worked behind Hall there, too (4/31), as the veteran presents as the better receiving option. Allen is clearly ahead of teammate Isaiah Davis, but with Hall in the picture, he's relegated to a change-of-pace role.

Even in an outstanding matchup with a hapless Dolphins' run defense, the former Wisconsin Badger can't be trusted for fantasy purposes. He's RotoBaller's PPR RB40 ahead of Week 4.

Jaylen Waddle, WR, Dolphins

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle has posted five catches and a touchdown each of the last two weeks, and he'll look to extend his scoring streak this week in a favorable matchup against the Jets. Waddle was questionable last week with a shoulder injury, but played a season-high 87% of the team's snaps against the Bills.

He caught five of his six targets for only 39 yards but did find the end zone for the second straight week. Waddle could get more work this week if Sauce Gardner focuses on locking down Tyreek Hill, leaving more space for Waddle, who is third on the team in targets behind only Hill and De'Von Achane. With Tua Tagovailoa playing very conservatively, Waddle will likely have to pick up most of his yardage after the catch.

However, his volume and his red zone work keep him as a solid play despite the offense's issues. This week, he is the No. 35 wide receiver in RotoBaller's rankings, making him a solid WR4 or flex option in most leagues.

Chase Brown, RB, Bengals

Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown is coming off a quality year. Unfortunately, that success didn't follow him into the 2025 campaign. Through the first three weeks, the 25-year-old has 47 attempts. However, he's only amassed 93 yards for a miserable 2.0 yards per carry.

With that said, Brown can't necessarily take all of the blame for his inefficiency, considering the entire offense has struggled. That was even the case when Joe Burrow (toe) was on the field. The Bengals suffered a blowout loss to the Vikings in Week 3 after starting the season with a 2-0 record, so the club will look to get on track versus the Denver Broncos on Monday night.

Without question, Brown has plenty of upside for managers in any format. Still, until things on the offensive side of the ball are sorted out, Brown's presence in fantasy lineups in Week 4 (and beyond) is not without risk.

Troy Franklin, WR, Broncos

Denver Broncos wide receiver Troy Franklin has certainly taken a step forward during his second pro season, but he still isn't a very reliable fantasy option heading into Week 4 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Franklin broke out with eight catches and a touchdown in Week 2, but in his two other games, he averaged just three catches, 26 yards, and zero touchdowns.

Without consistent production, the Oregon product ranks as a low-end WR4 and is a bit too risky to insert into lineups. That's especially true this week against the Cincinnati Bengals. While Cincinnati is limping right now with Joe Burrow (toe) sidelined, they've been solid against the pass, whether it's due to good defensive play or Cincinnati's opponents routinely running the ball with a sizable lead.

The Bengals have allowed the 13th-fewest receiving yards and fifth-fewest touchdowns to wide receivers in 2025. Franklin can be left on the bench in most leagues.
