Raheem Mostert's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 15 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Raheem Mostert for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB1
ANALYSIS: The Miami Dolphins are one of the favorites to represent the AFC in the 2023 Super Bowl. Their offense is loaded and their defense has played incredibly well as of late. The team has a plethora of weapons at their disposal on the offensive side of the ball, and each week, there seems to be a different contributor to their impressive attack.
Wide receiver Tyreek Hill is undoubtedly the Dolphins' most valuable player and just might be the NFL's. He is unstoppable and the team relies heavily on his production week in and week out. However, the reason Miami is 9-4 and in first place in the AFC East, is that they have multiple dangerous players who can be difference-makers on any given Sunday. Receiver Jaylen Waddle and running back De'Von Achane are huge parts of the artillery that are at the disposal of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, along with veteran back Raheem Mostert.
For the majority of his career, the 31-year-old has been riddled by the injury bug. However, Mostert has been one of the most consistent players for the Dolphins in 2023, being able to stay healthy and play in every game this season. He has compiled 924 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns along with 22 receptions for 170 yards and two touchdowns. His 18 total TDs lead the entire National Football League.
The Dolphins face their AFC rival New York Jets in Week 15, and although the Jets haven't had a great season, their defense has. They are one of the most feared units in the NFL, however, the one area they are somewhat vulnerable is on the ground. It has been amazing to watch what Mostert has done this season, particularly considering he has been splitting carries with Achane. His speed and elusiveness make him as dangerous as almost any running back in the league.
He isn't a lethal weapon through the air, however, his league-leading touchdown numbers almost guarantee he will find the end zone this week versus New York. He is a must-start in all fantasy leagues, and in Week 15 against the Jets, you should feel confident firing him up in all formats.
