Zack Wheeler Back From Paternity Leave
3 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies reinstated starting pitcher Zack Wheeler from the paternity list on Friday and outrighted infielder/outfielder Scott Kingery to Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding move. Wheeler went on the paternity list on Tuesday and didn't have to miss a start. The 32-year-old right-hander's next turn in the rotation will come on Saturday against the Arizona Diamondbacks in a very favorable matchup. Wheeler has been great for fantasy managers again this year with a 4-3 record, 3.14 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, 67 strikeouts and 15 walks in 57 1/3 innings over his 10 starts. He should be started with confidence in all single-year fantasy formats on Saturday against Arizona.
