Sal Stewart Collects Two Hits, Drives in Two on Saturday
Sal Stewart continued to hit on Saturday, going 2-for-5 with two RBI at Triple-A Louisville. The Reds' top-ranked prospect has now reached base safely via hit or walk in 22 consecutive games, now hitting .315 with a 1.023 OPS through 38 games at Triple-A, tallying 10 home runs and four steals with better than average strikeout (15.8 percent) and walk rates (11.5 percent). As hot as he's been, there's hope the 21-year-old would be called up when rosters expand on Monday, however, the team would also need to clear a spot for him as he's not currently on the 40-man roster. Regardless, Stewart should be in Cincinnati next year and should be stashed away in dynasty leagues.
