Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski (upper body) may have to spend some time on the sidelines after getting hurt in Monday's loss to the Washington Capitals. He missed the final period of play due to an upper-body injury. Werenski is having a huge year with the Blue Jackets, boasting 21 points (seven goals, 14 assists), 89 shots, and 33 blocks through 23 outings. Only two defensemen in the league have scored more points. If Werenski were to miss time, players like Ivan Provorov, Damon Severson, and Denton Mateychuk would receive more usage on the Columbus blue line.--Taavi Pailk
