Minnesota Wild defenseman Zach Bogosian (lower body) won't be in the lineup on Tuesday against the Washington Capitals. He is dealing with a lower-body injury, with the team considering Bogosian day-to-day. Jonas Brodin (upper body) will miss a third straight game, and Jacob Middleton (upper body) won't be available for a fifth consecutive contest. The injury situation is bad on the Wild's blue line. However, there has been some good news as well, with David Jiricek (upper body) ready to play despite his early exit from Sunday's win against the Boston Bruins. Recently acquired Quinn Hughes will anchor the defense in a tough matchup against Alex Ovechkin's crew, which is averaging 3.31 goals per game in 2025-26.--Taavi Pailk
