William Byron and the Hendrick Motorsports cars have been fast. They were earlier in the season and were again in qualifying. Byron got around the 1.5-mile Homestead course in 32.454 seconds. That was good enough to win the pole for Sunday afternoon's Dixie Vodka 400. After one race of the third segment, Byron and his No. 24 Chevy stand six points off fourth in the standings. Byron won his last appearance here in February of last year while leading 102 laps. The Chevy's figure to be pretty fast again. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
