Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Belts Another Homer
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. kept his terrific season going on Tuesday, blasting his league-leading 17th homer in the team's 5-1 win over the Marlins. His three-run shot off Sandy Alcantara in the third inning was all the offense needed in the contest, but the 22-year old finished the game going 4-for-4 for good measure. He added a double and two singles to increase his batting average to a spectacular .337, which also leads the league, and his 45 RBI now place him second behind Jose Abreu's 46. Guerrero is throwing his hat into the ring for early MVP consideration.
