San Diego Padres starter Tyson Ross recorded a quality start in six innings of work against the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday. Ross logged a no-decision in a game where the Padres won in 13 innings. He gave up only one earned run via three hits and two walks, fanning seven batters. Ross has registered five quality starts in eight outings, posting a solid 3.40 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 10.0 K/9. He merits strong roster consideration in all leagues but managers should view Ross as a matchup-based streamer, especially at home where he owns 2.85 ERA and 1.12 WHIP in 280 2/3 career innings at Petco Park. He'll take the ball next weekend in Pittsburgh against the Pirates who are second in the National League in runs.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
