New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. should see more work early in the 2026 season as starting RB Cam Skattebo (ankle) recovers from the gruesome injury that prematurely ended his 2025 season. We've seen flashes from Tracy at times, but he's also made terrible mistakes that have cost his team dearly, like backbreaking drops and massive whiffs in pass protection. The Giants would prefer for Skattebo to be their workhorse, though, and when he returns to full health, that's likely what he will be. The second-year pro is an archetypal bruiser with added upside in his high-end elusiveness and contact balance. Tracy will return to a change-of-pace role, but the reality is that Skattebo is better to have on the field on any given play. Tracy also isn't a high-end goal-line back. There's a small glimmer of upside in his former status as a wide receiver in college, but Skattebo is far better with the ball in his hands. Tracy is a mid-tier handcuff that could be worth starting in deeper fantasy leagues early in the season.--John Johnson
