Trey Yesavage Delivers Solid Start on Wednesday
Trey Yesavage allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out five in 4 2/3 innings on Wednesday against Triple-A Indianapolis. Yesavage had his best start since being promoted to Triple-A, limiting baserunners and generating 13 whiffs on 37 swings. Four of his five offerings drew multiple swings and misses from hitters, with his splitter leading the way with five. The 2024 first-rounder has soared through the minors this year and owns a 3.24 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and a 150:38 K:BB in 91 2/3 innings across all levels. It's unlikely we see him in the majors this season, but his ascent points to him having a role with the big-league club in 2026.
