4 months agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Trent Taylor looked strong in Spring practices and continues to excel at training camp. Taylor had 26 catches for 215 yards and a touchdown in 14 games last year, but was slowed all year by a back issue. Taylor's looking like he has a good chance to be San Francisco's starting slot receiver this year, but the 49ers have a fairly crowded receiving corps at this point, and rookies Deebo Samuel and Jalen Hurd should push Taylor for snaps. In terms of fantasy impact, Taylor is likely best viewed as a late pick in best ball leagues, because he's likely to be wildly inconsistent from week-to-week based on the construction of the team's receiving unit.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
