The Detroit Tigers have selected shortstop Jordan Yost from Sickles High School in Florida with the 24th overall pick in the 2025 MLB Draft. The Florida commit was a late bloomer in the draft process, and has some of the best contact skills in the draft with a good sense of the zone. Standing 6'0" and 170 pounds, he's begun to add power to his profile to go with his elite tool. What the power ultimately looks like could determine his upside, as his plus speed and defense will provide value. He joins a deep Detroit farm system featuring top prospect Kevin McGonigle.--Kyle McCarthy
