Terry McLaurin Could be Out Until After the Week 12 Bye
Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quadriceps), who suffered a setback in the Monday night loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8, has been ruled out for Sunday night's game against the Seattle Seahawks and is expected to be out next week against the Detroit Lions as well, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Rapoport adds that McLaurin could also miss the Week 11 contest against the Miami Dolphins. Washington has its bye in Week 12, so it's possible that McLaurin could miss another three games after aggravating a quad injury that has already cost him four games this season. It's obviously bad news for the 30-year-old wideout, his fantasy managers, and the Commanders' offense moving forward. With McLaurin sidelined yet again, receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. and tight end Zach Ertz should lead the team in targets, with Luke McCaffrey and rookie Jaylin Lane also seeing expanded roles in the passing attack.
