Joel Embiid to Sit Out Sunday's Action
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's clash against the Brooklyn Nets. The former MVP has seen limited action this season, and he will take the night off to rest ahead of an upcoming back-to-back set. It's safe to assume that we'll see Embiid only once during the next three contests. So far this season, he has featured in four of Philadelphia's five games, averaging 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.0 steals in 22.3 minutes. With Embiid out, Adem Bona and Andre Drummond can pick up additional work, but neither player has been particularly productive in 2025-26.
