Optimism Surrounding Travis Hunter's Knee Injury
According to The Athletic's Michael Silver, Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter (knee) is not thought to have suffered long-term damage to his knee after picking up an injury at practice on Thursday. Hunter was the victim of a non-contact injury late in the week. Although reports state his ACL remains intact, the Jags wasted no time sending him to IR. It's hapless timing for the rookie, who was coming off his best performance as a pro. Fortunately, the team doesn't seem too concerned about his ailment, though Silver noted that they have no intention of rushing him back. Either way, Hunter will miss at least the next four contests. While he's sidelined, fantasy managers can expect teammates Parker Washington and Dyami Brown to pick up most of the slack behind the corps' leader, Brian Thomas Jr.
