Vladimir Tarasenko Ends Dry Spell With Three-Point Effort
Minnesota Wild winger Vladimir Tarasenko bagged one goal and two assists in Saturday's 5-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks. The Russian forward ended a six-game point drought with a power-play goal in the first period and recorded one even-strength assist in each of the next two periods. This marked Tarasenko's first three-point outing since April 1, 2024. While recent years have been tough for him, Tarasenko has done fairly well in 2025-26, totaling eight points (two goals and six assists) in 13 games. He has earned a top-six role and is part of the first power-play unit.
