Buffalo Sabres left wing Zach Benson (undisclosed) has landed on Injured Reserve, Bill Hoppe of Buffalo Hockey Beat and Olean Times Herald reports. Benson was apparently hurt late in Thursday's matchup against the Boston Bruins and is now set to miss at least one week of action, beginning with Saturday's clash against the Washington Capitals. This season, Benson has recorded eight assists in as many games but has yet to score, despite firing 16 shots on goal in a top-line role. To strengthen their forward depth during Benson's absence, the Sabres have recalled Isak Rosen from the minors. Rosen is a player to watch, as he has been on fire in the AHL, producing 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in eight appearances.--Taavi Pailk
