New York Islanders right wing Simon Holmstrom (illness) will come back into the lineup for Thursday's matchup against the Detroit Red Wings. Due to illness, he was forced to miss Tuesday's win over the Dallas Stars. Holmstrom will be reunited with Jonathan Drouin and Mathew Barzal on the second line. The Swedish forward mainly provides defensive balance on the line, recording nine points (four goals, five assists) and 22 blocks in 19 appearances this season. Recent times have been tough for Holmstrom offensively, as he has finished six of his last seven outings without registering a point.--Taavi Pailk
