Samuel Ersson Lands on Injured Reserve
Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Samuel Ersson (lower body) was placed on Injured Reserve on Thursday. The Swedish netminder "tweaked" something during Wednesday's practice and is now set to spend at least one week on the sidelines. In four starts this season, Ersson has compiled a 2-1-1 record, while allowing 3.08 goals with a .876 save percentage. Dan Vladar will be in the Flyers net on Thursday against the Nashville Predators, with Aleksei Kolosov serving as his backup after being recalled from the minors. In 2025-26, Vladar has been a strong fantasy option, producing a 1.81 goals-against average and a .932 save percentage, while going 3-2-0.
