Road course races always open up the possibility of alternate strategies for race teams, and that is the case for Ryan Preece and the No. 60 team at Sonoma this weekend. Heading into the Toyota/Save Mart 350, Preece is two points below the cut line for the Playoffs, which means he likely be doing everything he can to maximize points earnings in Sunday's race. That could mean staying out at the end of Stage 2 while the leaders of the race will most likely pit. While this would earn points for Preece in the Stage, it could make it more difficult for him to get a good finish at the checkered flag. Preece has upside this weekend, considering he finished 18th at Sonoma last season and 13th here back in 2023. Additionally, this No. 60 Ford has posted results of seventh at Chicago Street Course and 15th at Mexico City this season. The potential strategy call in Stage 2 is definitely something DFS players should consider if they're going to roster Ryan Preece ($6,700 on DraftKings) this weekend, though.--Jordan McAbee
