Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Ryan Ellis (lower body) was placed on Injured Reserve, the team announced on Tuesday. The veteran blue-liner returned from a lower-body injury in Saturday's 5-2 loss against Dallas but got hurt again and is considered week-to-week. Ellis posted an assist on Saturday before re-injuring himself and has actually bagged a point in every outing he's had this season. Sadly, Ellis has managed to appear in only four games and it will take some time before he can head out again. Nick Seeler has filled in for Ellis and will continue to do so. The 28-year-old doesn't carry any fantasy value, having gone pointless so far in 11 games with five shots, 13 hits and 15 blocks.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
