Russell Wilson Ends Season On A Positive Note
2 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson ended his disastrous first season with the team in the Week 18 regular season finale on a positive note in the 31-28 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, albeit in a meaningless game for both teams. Wilson finished 13-for-24 for 283 yards, three touchdowns and one interception while being sacked twice for 17 yards. He also ran the ball eight times for 18 yards. It was one of the 34-year-old's better games of the season, but as we mentioned previously, this game didn't matter in the grand scheme of things. The veteran QB will be changing his offseason routine up and will also have a new head coach and quite possibly an entire new coaching staff in 2024. The Broncos have the offensive weapons for Wilson to rebound, but the offensive line needs upgrading and Wilson needs to be better than his career-worst 60.5% completion percentage.
