Rhamondre Stevenson Could Lose Goal-Line Work To Ezekiel Elliott
1 year agoThe New England Patriots have made it clear that running back Rhamondre Stevenson is their No. 1 back this year. But it's always been difficult to fully trust Patriots RBs in fantasy, and The Athletic's Chad Graff thinks Stevenson could face similar problems. The Patriots signed Ezekiel Elliott for his ability in short-yardage situations, and Graff writes that there's a very real chance he becomes the team's goal-line back, vulturing touchdowns from Stevenson. Fantasy managers that took Stevenson in their drafts will want to pay close attention to how the carries shake out in New England. Elliott could become a thorn in Stevenson's side as far as goal-line work goes, and it could push the 25-year-old more into RB2 territory.
