Toronto Maple Leafs forward Scott Laughton (lower body) is considered week-to-week and isn't expected to play in the team's season opener against the Montreal Canadiens on Oct. 8. Laughton sustained a lower-body injury in Thursday's preseason game against the Detroit Red Wings. His injury likely secures a spot in the opening-night lineup for David Kampf.
