1 year agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Randal Grichuk (head) is not in the lineup for the Halos on Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Rays on the road. It shouldn't come as a surprise after Grichuk had to leave Tuesday's contest after being hit in the head by a pitch. The good news is that it was only a glancing blow to his helmet and he was able to walk off the field under his own power. Fantasy managers will want to check back to see if he's able to return to action for the series finale on Thursday in Tampa. With Grichuk out, Jo Adell is starting in left field and batting sixth against Rays right-hander Aaron Civale. Adell has been a standout for the Angels on the farm, but he's yet to make his mark in the big leagues in four seasons and has only four hits in 17 at-bats over six games in the majors in 2023 heading into Wednesday's contest.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
