Quinn Hughes Sits Out Second Consecutive Game
Vancouver Canucks defenseman Quinn Hughes (lower body) will be out for a second consecutive game on Tuesday against the New York Rangers. The star blue-liner remains day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Hughes has maintained a spot among the top-scoring defensemen in 2025-26, sitting on seven points (one goal, six assists) with nine games played. Marcus Pettersson has replaced him on Vancouver's first defensive pairing, while Tom Willander is set for his NHL debut on the third pairing against the Rangers. Hughes' next opportunity to return will come on Thursday night against the St. Louis Blues.
