The Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, and Philadelphia Eagles were among the teams that showed varying levels of interest in eight-time Pro Bowl offensive guard Quenton Nelson before he was traded by the Indianapolis Colts to the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday, a source told Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. It is not surprising that the highly decorated interior offensive lineman was coveted by a handful of NFL teams with this year's Nov. 10 trade deadline quickly approaching, but it was the Seahawks who scored him as they look to keep pace in the strong NFC West to defend their Super Bowl championship last year. Seattle sent a 2027 third-round pick and a fifth-rounder in 2028 to secure the services of the 30-year-old, who will certainly be a boost for the team's ground game, which is expected to get Zach Charbonnet (knee) back for the first time this year in their Monday night contest in Week 8 against the Chicago Bears. After firing long-time general manager Chris Ballard last week, the Colts are expected to continue selling off pieces in the next couple of weeks, with star running back Jonathan Taylor potentially being the biggest to move.--Keith Hernandez
