Veteran quarterback
Joe Flacco reached an agreement on a one-year, $6 million deal on Tuesday to re-sign with the Cincinnati Bengals, his agents told Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. Flacco will return to Cincy for a 19th NFL season after spending time with both the Bengals and Cleveland Browns in 2025. The 41-year-old veteran began the year as the starter in Cleveland, but he was traded to the Bengals after four starts to fill in for the injured
Joe Burrow. Flacco became a streaming QB in fantasy formats after landing in Cincy, as he threw for 1,664 yards, 13 touchdowns, and four interceptions in nine games (six starts) after the trade. Despite his age, Flacco has proved in recent seasons that he still has a little magic left in the tank as a backup signal-caller. Burrow continues to be hampered by injuries in his career, so if he misses more time in 2026, Flacco will be called to the rescue again and could once again be worth picking up off the waiver wire for QB-needy fantasy managers.

There is a new pecking order among Denver Broncos wide receivers after the team acquired
Jaylen Waddle from the Miami Dolphins last week for three draft picks. Waddle could end up being the Broncos' WR1, ahead of
Courtland Sutton, and his presence will definitely make playing time and targets hard to come by for
Marvin Mims Jr. The Athletic's Nick Kosmider writes that the Broncos "aren't in any hurry to make a trade to thin the room," though, which includes Sutton,
Troy Franklin,
Pat Bryant, and Mims. Injuries thinned the team's WR room late last year, so they "want to be more equipped for those potential setbacks." Although Waddle and Mims may have similar skill sets and roles on offense, Mims' ability to run the football out of the backfield, be a Pro Bowl return man on special teams, and operate as a big-play threat on offense "makes him a different weapon" than Waddle. Teams could be calling about a player like Mims, but Kosmider doesn't think a team with Super Bowl aspirations will pull the trigger. In dynasty and redraft leagues, Mims' stock will take a notable hit if he stays in Denver, however.

Odell Beckham Jr. has received renewed interest from NFL teams after his showing at
Tom Brady's Fanatics flag football game, and he "fully intends to play" in 2026, sources told Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports. Beckham was "one of the most impressive players on the field" during the flag football game. The 33-year-old veteran served a six-game suspension for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs in 2025 and never latched on with an NFL team. In his last year in 2024 with the Miami Dolphins, OBJ looked washed up, catching just nine of 18 targets for 55 yards and no touchdowns, although he was also well behind
Tyreek Hill and
Jaylen Waddle in the WR pecking order. Since the start of the 2022 season, Beckham has played in only 23 games (six starts) and has 44 catches for 620 yards and three touchdowns with Miami and Baltimore. If he does return to the league in 2026, Beckham will be fighting an uphill battle for fantasy relevance as a likely depth option at wideout.

Most fantasy managers were not thrilled about Denver Broncos running back
RJ Harvey's fantasy value going into 2026 when the Broncos re-signed
J.K. Dobbins. But Harvey will continue to factor into Denver's offense, and the coaching staff thinks he's "ready for a Year 2 jump," according to Nick Kosmider of The Athletic. Harvey wasn't exactly efficient on a per-carry basis in his rookie campaign, averaging 3.7 yards per carry on 146 rushing attempts in 17 regular-season games. He ranked 29th out of 32 RBs with at least 75 attempts with a 3.4 yard-per-carry average after Dobbins went down with a season-ending foot injury. Despite his limitations, Harvey had 540 rushing yards, 47 catches, 356 receiving yards, and 12 total touchdowns (seven rushing). While Dobbins' return limits the 25-year-old's fantasy upside, Harvey still has a pretty bright future in terms of his dynasty/keeper outlook. Dobbins has been incredibly injury-prone in his career, too, so it might not be long before Harvey is again Denver's RB1.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are expected to discuss a contract extension with quarterback
Baker Mayfield this offseason, league sources told Jeff Howe of The Athletic. Mayfield's three-year, $100 million deal expires in March of 2027. Howe adds that Mayfield's next contract won't necessarily be team-friendly after he has proven his worth as the team's franchise QB. He is currently the 16th-highest-paid signal-caller at $33.3 million per year. Mayfield and the Bucs have both publicly stated their desire to stay together beyond his current contract. It remains to be seen if Tampa is willing to give him at least $50 million annually after he regressed in 2025 with totals of 3,693 passing yards, 26 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions in 17 starts. Still, Lowe thinks he'd be justified in asking for four years and $224 milion or five years and $280 million, with at least half fully guaranteed. In fantasy football, Mayfield will be considered a low-end QB1/high-end QB2 option, with his upside limited now that he doesn't have future Hall of Fame receiver
Mike Evans to throw to.

The Atlanta Falcons are expected to sign former San Francisco 49ers running back
Brian Robinson Jr. to an undisclosed deal, sources told Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports. Robinson has over 2,700 rushing yards, 612 receiving yards, and 22 total touchdowns in his four NFL seasons with the 49ers and Washington Commanders. The 27-year-old former third-round pick by Washington in 2022 out of Alabama had a career-low 92 rushing attempts for 400 yards and two touchdowns in 17 regular-season games in 2025 as the primary backup behind workhorse
Christian McCaffrey. In his three years with the Commanders, Robinson had over 700 rushing yards each season and also totaled 15 rushing touchdowns while averaging 4.1 yards per carry. He will effectively replace
Tyler Allgeier as the No. 2 in Atlanta behind
Bijan Robinson, although fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to be quite as productive as Allgeier was in a No. 2 role. The Falcons are expected to give Bijan the lion's share of the backfield touches in 2026.

The Athletic's Matt Barrows believes that "there's a good argument" for the San Francisco 49ers to sign free-agent defensive end Joey Bosa. At this point in his career and given his lengthy injury history, the 49ers wouldn't be able to count on Bosa being an every-down defensive end, but with a pass-rush win rate over 20% in 2025 with the Buffalo Bills, he could be a nice situational pass-rusher. Two of San Fran's current defensive ends are coming off torn ACLs, including Bosa's younger brother, Nick. Barrows writes that the Niners may wait until after the upcoming NFL draft. If they add a top edge rusher in the draft, adding someone like Bosa won't be as urgent. Bosa is now 30 years old and carries significant injury risk. He managed to play in 15 regular-season games in 2025 with Buffalo, recording 29 tackles (17 solo), five sacks, nine tackles for loss, 16 QB hits, and a league-high five forced fumbles. Bosa is a five-time Pro Bowler and former Defensive Rookie of the Year, but he hasn't had double-digit sacks in a season since 2021 with the Chargers.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced on Tuesday that outside linebacker Lavonte David is retiring from professional football after 14 years in the NFL. David said earlier this offseason that he would either re-sign with the Buccaneers for a 15th season or retire. The 36-year-old veteran will finish an illustrious career that featured 1,716 tackles (1,172 solo), 42.5 sacks, 177 tackles for loss, 79 QB hits, 14 interceptions (two returned for touchdowns), 73 pass breakups, 33 forced fumbles, and 21 fumble recoveries (one returned for a TD) in 215 regular-season starts, all with the Buccaneers. Tampa drafted David in the second round (58th overall) in 2012 out of Nebraska. He was named to one Pro Bowl (2015) and was a first-team All-Pro once (2013) while also winning a Super Bowl ring. David amazingly had over 100 combined tackles in his 14 NFL seasons and only missed 14 games in his career. There's an argument to be made that he belongs in the Hall of Fame for his consistency over a long period of time.

The Baltimore Ravens backed out of a potential trade for Las Vegas Raiders All-Pro pass-rusher Maxx Crosby (knee) earlier this month due to concerns that he had a degenerative issue in his knee, according to Ryan McFadden of ESPN. Crosby was more than a month removed from surgery to fix a torn meniscus in his knee, and he began walking without crutches on Feb. 27. Sources with the Raiders and those close to Crosby "are skeptical" that his medical state was the sole reason for nixing the trade, which would have sent two first-round picks to the Raiders. "No one will ever admit what the real truth is," Crosby said. The consensus is that Crosby should be able to play in 2026, but the Ravens' concern "centered on the uncertainty of Crosby's durability after a couple of seasons" in Baltimore due to a "degenerative issue" in his knee. Crosby's surgeon, Dr. Neal ElAttrache, has reassured him that he's fine and is making significant progress in his rehab. It's unclear if the Raiders will still trade Crosby to a contender for 2026. Regardless of what uniform Crosby has on, he should be ready for Week 1 and will be as motivated as ever to produce. His long-term health could be in question, but in IDP fantasy leagues in 2026, Crosby will remain a high-end pass-rushing target.

Jauan Jennings won't return to the team in 2026. Adding Boston, a big-bodied outside wideout, would be bad news for the injury-prone
Ricky Pearsall's dynasty fantasy value long-term. In his four collegiate seasons with the Huskies, Boston had 132 receptions for 1,781 yards and 20 touchdowns in 43 games. He caught 62 passes for a career-high 881 yards and 11 touchdowns in his final year at Washington in 12 games in 2025. Boston was tied for ninth in college football with 14.2 yards per catch, so he'll bring big-play ability to the NFL as a projected late first-round/early second-round selection.

Matthew Stafford is aging like fine wine. The 38-year-old made his third career Pro Bowl and won the first MVP award of his career in his 17th year in the league in 2025 after throwing for a league-high 4,707 yards, a league-high 46 touchdowns, and eight interceptions in 17 regular-season starts. He then added a league-high 936 passing yards and a league-high six touchdowns in three postseason games before the Rams fell short to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship. With one of the best receiving duos in the league in
Puka Nacua and
Davante Adams coming back in 2026, Stafford should remain in the QB1 picture in all fantasy formats. However, as he nears 40 years old, Stafford will also be one of the bigger injury risks at the position. In dynasty/keeper leagues, you're stoked if you have a strong roster around him, but if you don't, he's an easy sell high candidate who could be playing the last year of his career in 2026.

New York Jets running back
Breece Hall had a career year in 2025 in his fourth year in the NFL, running for 1,065 yards and four touchdowns on 243 carries in 16 starts, adding 36 receptions for 350 yards and another touchdown on 48 targets. However, despite the strong season as the team's top offensive weapon, Hall was only the RB19 in half-PPR scoring. There's no denying that the 24-year-old former second-rounder has talent, but the offensive inefficiencies of the Jets' offense have held him back, as he's never had more than five rushing touchdowns in a single season. The addition of new offensive coordinator Frank Reich and new quarterback
Geno Smith might only be slight improvements over last year, if at all. As a free agent going into the new league year, there was a chance that Hall's dynasty value would skyrocket if he landed in a new situation. That didn't turn out to be the case, though, with the Jets franchise-tagging him. Hall's skills and efficiency make him a clear RB2 target, but his ceiling could remain limited in what will likely be another lackluster Jets offense in 2026.

The Denver Broncos restructured wide receiver
Jaylen Waddle's contract on Tuesday to convert $15.416 million of an option bonus into a signing bonus for salary cap purposes, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Sports. Waddle's new salary is at $1.215 million. The move frees up $7.961 million in cap space for this season. The Broncos might not be done yet after making a big move recently to acquire Waddle from the Dolphins in exchange for three draft picks, including their first-rounder next month. The 27-year-old former sixth overall pick by Miami in the 2021 draft out of Alabama immediately is a boost to Denver's passing attack, and he could lead the team in targets and production in 2026 as one of quarterback
Bo Nix's favorite targets over the short and middle areas of the field. Waddle produced 1,000-yard seasons in his first three years in the NFL and could get back to that mark if he stays healthy in his first year in Denver.

Trevor Siemian is signing an undisclosed deal with the Atlanta Falcons on Tuesday, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. Siemian will provide veteran depth at the QB position in Atlanta behind
Michael Penix Jr. (knee) and
Tua Tagovailoa heading into the 2026 season. The 34-year-old veteran was originally a seventh-round selection (250th overall) by the Denver Broncos in the 2015 NFL draft out of Northwestern. He spent the first three years of his career in Denver before bouncing around with the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, and Chicago Bears. Siemian hasn't played in an NFL game since making five appearances (three starts) for the Jets in 2023 and throwing for 724 yards, two touchdowns, and four interceptions. In his seven NFL campaigns, Siemian has a 58.5% completion percentage, 7,751 passing yards, 44 touchdowns, and 32 interceptions in 40 games (33 starts). His best season came in his second year in Denver, when he threw for 3,401 yards, 18 TDs, and 10 interceptions in 14 starts.

While he may not return immediately to his do-everything (and do it well) form coming off the devastating injury, he'll still only be 25 at the start of the 2026 season and boasts too much talent to think he won't have a shot at working his way back to the top tier of dynasty tight ends. Christian Watson comes into 2026 one more year removed from the ACL tear that ended his 2024 season, and the team is expecting more from their 2025 first-round pick,
