Ross Chastain of Trackhouse Racing placed sixth during Sunday's FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Beginning the race from the 20th position, Chastain put together a mostly quiet but solid performance. He did not advance much through the first stage as he ended in 20th place and failed to score stage points, but that changed in the second stage. Chastain went up to the top five thanks to pit strategy, efficient moves under green, and staying out of trouble through wrecks. He ended stage two in the fifth position and gained five stage points. In the final stage, Chastain ran most of it inside the top 10 to 15, but made it up through the pack as other drivers dealt with fuel issues. The No. 1 Chevrolet driver climbed up to and finished sixth, collecting a new career-best finish at Michigan.

Yusei Kikuchi blanked the Athletics over 7 1/3 innings of one-hit ball in Monday's 7-4 home win. The 33-year-old struck out five and walked one in the brilliant performance. Kikuchi overwhelmed the A's early, retiring the first 13 batters he faced before yielding a single and a walk in the fifth. However, he'd quickly end the threat with a groundout and cruise through the remaining 2 1/3 innings of his outing. It's the veteran's first quality start in nearly a month (May 12), improving to 2-5 in 2025. He held a 1.89 ERA in May and has continued his success as the calendar turned with a 2.19 ERA in two June starts. His overall ERA on the year is strong (2.92), but he has an inflated 1.47 WHIP due to his issue with free passes, allowing four or more in seven of his 14 starts.

Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman
Josh Naylor went 3-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in Monday's 8-4 win against the Seattle Mariners. He singled, doubled, scored twice, and drew a walk. The 27-year-old entered the contest in a 1-for-21 slump, but promptly broke out of it to deliver a massive performance. Naylor picked up his first RBI with a double in the seventh, but saved his best for last when he approached the dish in the bottom of the eleventh inning. Carlos Vargas, fouling off three straight balls before blasting a walk-off grand slam to send everyone home. It was homer No. 8 for the former first-round pick, who's added nine steals, 44 RBI, 32 runs scored, and a solid .290/.346/.457 triple slash.

Arizona Diamondbacks relief pitcher
A.J. Puk (elbow) continues to work his way back from elbow issues and has stretched out to 120 feet, per manager Torey Lovullo. Puk was able to avoid surgery after landing on the 15-day injured list in mid-April after appearing in eight games. He had 12 strikeouts and gave up three runs while converting all four save chances and picking up two holds as well. The lefty will look to continue to ramp up and return to the Diamondbacks bullpen in the near future. He will likely need a rehab stint after so long on the sidelines, so he is still a few steps away from returning to the bullpen mix for Arizona. The fact that there has been progress without setbacks, though, is a good sign for the 30-year-old southpaw.

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher
Emmet Sheehan (elbow) is looking to stretch out to four innings in his next rehab start, and after that Dodgers' manager Dave Roberts said there could be a conversation about Sheehan being a rotation option in the majors. The 25-year-old righty went 4-1 in 13 games (11 starts) in 2023 with a 4.92 ERA, 4.85 FIP, and 9.55 K/9. He underwent Tommy John surgery in May of 2024 and has looked sharp in his three rehab starts, giving up four hits and one run with 14 strikeouts in just eight innings. He is still just stretching out and will likely be limited when he returns, but he brings a very high ceiling if he can lock down a rotation spot for the Dodgers and return to his pre-injury form. His strikeout ceiling and potential spot in the Dodgers' rotation make him worth watching closely for all formats.

Dallas Mavericks forward
Olivier-Maxence Prosper (wrist) is on track to be healthy for the start of the 2025-26 season. "Rehab is going great," Prosper told Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News. "The process is where it's supposed to be, and I'll be back soon." The 22-year-old expects to be fully healthy by early July. His campaign in 2024-25 ended early in March due to surgery on his right wrist. He averaged 3.9 points and 2.4 rebounds in 11.2 minutes per game. While Prosper has been a non-factor in fantasy basketball during his first two years in the Association, he is still young enough to develop into a solid rotational piece for the Mavericks.

Justin Martinez (elbow) was forced to leave Monday's game against Seattle with the training staff after dealing with elbow tightness. Martinez said he "felt bad" after the game, but it wasn't clear if he meant his arm or the fact that he had to leave the game. The 23-year-old closer spent time on the injured list last month with shoulder inflammation, but it isn't clear if this injury will cause him to miss time or just require a few days of rest. Shelby Miller would be next up for saves out of Arizona's bullpen.

Phoenix Suns point guard
Vasilije Micic seems to be on his way back to Europe. He has been linked to newly-crowned EuroLeague champions Fenerbahce, with sources informing EuroHoops that Micic's agent, Igor Crespo, was in Istanbul last week. Micic previously starred in Europe, leading Anadolu Efes to two EuroLeague championships, but his game didn't translate well to the NBA. In two seasons, the Serbian playmaker suited up for three different teams, averaging 6.8 points and 3.9 assists in 19.4 minutes. The Suns have an $8.81 million team option on Micic's contract for next season, but they are expected to decline it.

Seattle Mariners starting pitcher
Bryce Miller (elbow) will not make his scheduled start on Wednesday of this week and will instead return to the 15-day injured list. He missed most of May with a bone spur in his elbow and struggled in his two starts since returning, allowing eight runs on 11 hits in nine innings against the Twins and Angels. While the team hasn't given a timetable for his return, he definitely didn't look 100% in those two outings. He has an ugly 5.73 ERA and 4.41 FIP in his 10 games this season, and his numbers have been disappointing across the board. He showed a ton of promise last season with the Mariners, so if you can stash him in an IL spot, he's still worth holding until we get a clearer timetable in the hopes that the extra time helps him return to his 2024 form.

Myles Turner completes a two-year, $40.9 million contract this season and may suit up in a different uniform in 2025-26. According to reports, there is mutual interest between Turner and the Pacers to work out a new deal, but he will have a couple of interesting alternative options if things don't work out. Per Grant Afseth of RG, the Detroit Pistons and Atlanta Hawks are interested in landing Turner, who has so far spent his entire 10-year NBA career in Indianapolis. The 29-year-old big man shot a career-high 39.6 percent from three-point range this season, averaging 15.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks. Turner has been a reliable fantasy producer for many years and should continue to be held in high regard even if he changes teams.

Guerschon Yabusele is looking forward to free agency and has his mind set on staying in the NBA. "Oh, no, 100 percent," Yabusele said in an interview with HoopsHype. "I made it clear. I really, really want to stay in the NBA, now that I have a real reason over there I want to do some more." As a youngster, Yabusele had an underwhelming stint with the Boston Celtics and left the Association in 2019. Following an impressive tournament at the Paris Olympics, he returned to the NBA for the 2024-25 season and played well. Yabusele averaged 11.0 points and 5.6 rebounds in 27.1 minutes for the injury-plagued 76ers. The Frenchman was on a one-year, $2.1 million contract in 2024-25 and will surely seek a much better deal as a free agent this offseason.

Jrue Holiday could be moving on from Beantown this summer. According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, the Celtics are "most definitely listening on calls for" Holiday, who has spent the last two seasons in Boston. Previously, Holiday has expressed a desire to remain with the Celtics. However, the veteran is on an expensive contract, and the Celtics are reportedly seeking a first-round draft pick for Holiday. The two-time NBA champion has just completed the first season of a four-year, $134.4 million contract. Holiday was plagued by health issues throughout the campaign, averaging 11.1 points and 3.9 assists, his worst numbers since his rookie year. Moving away from a stacked team like Boston may improve his fantasy outlook.

Edmonton Oilers right wing Corey Perry took care of the team's consolation goal in Monday's 6-1 defeat to the Florida Panthers in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Perry's ninth marker of the postseason cut the deficit to one early in the second period. However, Sam Reinhart responded just 1:20 later, and the Panthers went on to secure a comfortable victory. Zach Hyman's (wrist) absence has given Perry a first-line role, and the veteran has been one of Edmonton's top performers in the Finals. Leading up to Game 4, he's enjoying a five-game point streak, having scored in four of those contests. Throughout the entire postseason, Perry has accumulated 13 points (nine goals, four assists) in 19 outings.

Edmonton Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner was pulled in Monday's Game 3 loss against the Florida Panthers, allowing five goals on 23 shots in a 6-1 defeat. Brad Marchand needed just 56 seconds to beat Skinner at the start of the game, and Florida ended up dominating the entire night. Skinner has now allowed five goals in back-to-back games, and at least three pucks have slipped past him in four straight contests. With this in mind, it wouldn't be surprising if the Oilers made another goalie change for Game 4 against the Panthers. Calvin Pickard, who was beaten once on eight shots Monday, is a strong alternative option, having remained unbeaten in six starts this postseason.

Florida Panthers forward Evan Rodrigues finished Monday's 6-1 triumph against the Edmonton Oilers in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals with two points. He assisted Carter Verhaeghe on the game-winning goal and completed the scoring himself. Rodrigues notched both of his points on the power play. Monday's prolific performance gives Rodrigues a four-game point streak. He has reached peak form at just the right moment, and his stretch of one point in the first seven games of the postseason has been entirely forgotten. Sitting on 15 points (two goals, 13 assists) through 18 appearances, Rodrigues now only needs to add one more point to his total to set a new scoring record for a single postseason campaign.

Florida Panthers forward Sam Reinhart registered a goal and an assist in Monday's one-sided 6-1 victory over the Edmonton Oilers in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals. The 29-year-old scored Florida's third goal early in the second period and completed his multi-point outing with a power-play assist in the fourth. This gave Reinhart the same number of points he had managed over his previous five outings. For the playoffs, Reinhart boasts 15 points (five points, 10 assists) in 18 appearances. His production has fallen off late in the postseason. Fortunately for the Panthers, several other players have raised their performance, and the defending champions now lead the series against Edmonton 2-1.

Florida Panthers center Sam Bennett notched the team's fourth goal in Monday's big 6-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers, becoming the first player in franchise history to score in four consecutive playoff games. Bennett's night included a team-high six hits and 14 penalty minutes. The Panthers have received outstanding production from Bennett throughout the postseason, as the 28-year-old has scored 14 goals and 20 points in 20 games. Strangely, he has scored only two home goals in the playoffs. Bennett has the chance to add to this total in Game 4 when the teams face off again in Sunrise on Thursday night.

Florida Panthers left wing Brad Marchand scored for the third consecutive game as the team whipped the Edmonton Oilers 6-1 in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Monday night. The veteran forward opened the scoring less than a minute into the game, hitting his eighth goal of the postseason. Only Matthew Tkachuk (11) and Dave Lowry (10) have managed more goals during their first playoff campaign with the Panthers. Florida has hit the jackpot with the acquisition of Marchand, who has been one of the team's best players this postseason. With 20 games played, Marchand boasts 18 points (eight goals, 10 assists) and 32 hits while carrying a plus-15 rating.

Jake Mangum was in the thick of the action in Monday's 10-8 extra-inning win over the Red Sox. Mangum went 4-for-6 with four singles, two RBI, and a strikeout. The 29-year-old has come out of nowhere to be a surprising fantasy contributor as a late-blooming rookie, slashing .302/.333/.368 with one home run, 15 RBI, and 10 stolen bases in 112 plate appearances. He missed a little over a month with a left groin strain but has seen playing time and has provided batting average and speed, facets he also provided throughout his minor-league career. Mangum is currently rostered in just five percent of leagues, meaning he is likely available even in deep roto leagues where he could provide solid value.

Toronto Blue Jays closer
Jeff Hoffman picked up his 16th save of the season in Monday's 5-4 extra-inning win over the Cardinals. Hoffman came in to pitch the bottom of the 10th inning up by one with an automatic runner on second. He shut the door with a 1-2-3 performance, including a strikeout. The 32-year-old has been erratic overall in his first season with the Blue Jays, converting 16 of 19 save opportunities with a 5.46 ERA, a 1.08 WHIP, and a 13.04 K/9 rate in 29 2/3 innings of work. The good news for fantasy managers is that Hoffman appears to have the confidence of the Blue Jays coaching staff and his underlying metrics look strong overall, so he should continue to see opportunities to provide fantasy value.

St. Louis Cardinals closer
Ryan Helsley blew his fifth save of the season in Monday's 5-4 extra-inning loss to the Blue Jays. Helsley came in to pitch the top of the ninth inning up by one. He got the first out on a pop-out, allowed a game-tying solo homer, got the second out on a strikeout, allowed a double, and ended the inning with another strikeout. The 30-year-old, who was a National League All-Star last season, has already tied his career high in blown saves this season. He has notched 13 saves with a 3.75 ERA, a 1.54 WHIP, a 10.50 K/9 rate, and a 4.50 BB/9 rate in 24 innings of work. His walk rate has been an issue and he has allowed harder contact than in previous seasons, contributing to his bloated WHIP and ERA. The good news for fantasy managers is that Helsley still appears to have a firm grasp on the role, but he will need to start tightening things up.

Boston Red Sox top prospect
Roman Anthony caused plenty of fanfare but did not contribute much to the action in Monday's 10-8 extra-inning loss to the Rays. The 21-year-old, who is the No. 1 overall prospect in all of baseball per MLB Pipeline, made his big-league debut in right field batting fifth. He went 0-for-4 with an RBI, a walk, and a strikeout. Anthony performed very well in the minors last season. He was also slashing .288/.423/.491 with Triple-A Worcester before getting the call-up, so there is plenty for fantasy managers to be excited about. He is already rostered in 62 percent of leagues, but that means he could still be available for some fantasy managers.

Bryan Reynolds did his part offensively in Monday's 10-3 win over the Marlins. Reynolds went 2-for-5 with a single, a triple, and three RBI. The 30-year-old broke a 1-1 tie in the third inning, lacing a
Eury Perez breaking pitch into the right-center gap to clear the bases. It was a bright spot for Reynolds in a season that has uncharacteristically had few so far. While Reynolds usually provides a high fantasy floor, he has slashed just .238/.311/.385 with eight home runs, 39 RBI, and three stolen bases in 283 plate appearances. His counting stats are relatively in line with how he has produced over the past several seasons, but hopefully, he can get his batting average up toward his .273 career mark.

Miami Marlins starting pitcher
Eury Perez (elbow) did not have the best results in his 2025 season debut, taking the loss in a 10-3 game against the Pirates. Perez pitched three innings, allowing four runs on four hits and two walks with five strikeouts on 70 pitches. The 22-year-old had Tommy John surgery on his right elbow in April of last year and hadn't appeared in an MLB regular-season game since September of 2023. While the box score wasn't great, it was encouraging to see Perez back on the mound for the Marlins topping out at 99.7 MPH. Perez looked great from a fantasy perspective in 2023 and had success in his minor-league rehab assignment this season, but fantasy managers will need to be patient as he gets back into the swing of things. His next scheduled start will be a decent matchup at the Nationals.

Atlanta Braves starting pitcher
Chris Sale was dialed in for Monday's 7-1 win over the Brewers. Sale pitched seven innings, allowing one run on five hits and two walks with a season-high 11 strikeouts. The 36-year-old has shown no signs of slowing down after earning the National League Cy Young Award last season. He has been excellent in his first two seasons with the Braves after an up-and-down tenure with the Red Sox. Sale is now 4-4 with a 2.79 ERA, a 1.21 WHIP, and an 11.94 K/9 rate in 14 starts and 80 2/3 IP. His next start will be an excellent matchup against the Rockies at home.

Philadelphia Phillies infield/outfield prospect
Otto Kemp recorded his first major league hit on Monday, finishing with three hits in the game in five at-bats, and he scored once in the 4-3 extra-innings win over the Cubs. The 25-year-old went hitless in his first five at-bats in the big leagues, and we'll see how he performs going forward now with some confidence under his belt. The Phils' 24th-ranked prospect was on fire prior to his call-up, slashing .313/.416/.594 with 14 home runs and 11 steals in 58 games. Kemp was called up when
Bryce Harper (wrist) hit the IL, but if he continues to hit, Philadelphia may have some tough decisions to make when Harper returns. As for fantasy, Kemp could be a speculative add for his power and ability to steal bases in deep leagues, especially given his eligibility at both 3B and 2B on Yahoo!.

Milwaukee Brewers shortstop prospect
Cooper Pratt went 3-for-4 with an RBI, a run scored, and stole two bases on Sunday for Double-A Biloxi. After slashing .265/.346/.404 over his first 35 games, the 20-year-old went into a 7-for-59 (.119) funk over his next 16 contests. The 6-foot-3 slugger is now slashing .231/.314/.342 for the year after his three-hit game, with 10 doubles, four home runs, and 12 steals. The Brewers will likely want to see a continuation of Sunday's performance for a while before considering pushing him to Triple-A, and Milwaukee's third-ranked prospect, who has solid all-around tools, has an MLB ETA of 2027 per MLB.com.
