Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay didn't rule out the possibility of the team trading for Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey. "You would certainly never rule out the possibility of that... There's a lot of layers that would need to be worked out with a player of his magnitude... but you would never eliminate the possibility of adding a total stud," McVay said. The 30-year-old former first-rounder (fifth overall) by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2016 out of Florida State played for the Rams from 2019-22. He spent the last two seasons in Miami, but it sounds like his time in South Beach is coming to an end. The seven-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro played in all 17 games in 2024 and had 60 tackles (39 solo), six tackles for loss, two interceptions and 11 pass breakups while playing at a high level. There will be plenty of suitors for Ramsey, who could be dealt during this week's NFL draft.

Dallas Cowboys All-Pro pass-rusher Micah Parsons said that he's taking part in the team's voluntary offseason program to build his relationship with new head coach Brian Schottenheimer and to grow as a leader, but he also indicated that he might not do all of the on-field work as the offseason progresses. As he heads into the final year of his current deal, the 25-year-old linebacker is still looking for a new long-term extension, and it doesn't appear like the two sides are at all close to a resolution after owner Jerry Jones bypassed Parsons' agent in contract talks at the beginning of April. If the two sides are still at a contract impasse by the summer when training camp is about to start, it's very possible that we'll be talking about a potential hold-in for the four-time Pro Bowler. Contract issues aside, Parsons is a fantasy stud in IDP formats with 52.5 sacks in his four NFL seasons.

The Houston Texans are reportedly considering trading up for an offensive lineman during the upcoming NFL Draft. The Texans already traded star left tackle Laremy Tunsil to the Washington Commanders. Thanks to that trade the Texans have three picks on Day 2. There isn't a ton of great Day 2 quality players on the offensive line, so the Texans might be forced to trade up. The Texans are going to have to wait and see how the draft shakes out, but it doesn't sound like they're afraid to make a move if needed. The organization has reportedly taken a strong look at Ohio State's Donovan Jackson. Also, Grey Zabel could be a possible fit as someone who could be a Day 1 starter.

Cleveland Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (neck) has returned for the start of the offseason program. Owusu-Koramoah suffered a scary neck injury in late October when he collided with Baltimore Ravens running back
Derrick Henry. He was carted off the field and didn't see the field again after that. The fact that Owusu-Koramoah is back with the team on Tuesday is a good sign. General manager Andrew Berry said Owusu-Koramoah is progressing, but he doesn't have a timetable for his return. In 2023, Owusu-Koramoah recorded 101 tackles and 3.5 sacks in 16 games with Cleveland. He was limited to eight games last season, but is a stud when healthy.

Veteran free-agent cornerback Stephon Gilmore was at the Dallas Cowboys' facility on Tuesday, but NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports no signing is imminent. The former No. 10 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft out of South Carolina spent the 2023 campaign with Dallas before a season with the Minnesota Vikings last year. Overall, Gilmore has tallied 617 tackles (521 solo), 149 pass deflections, 32 interceptions, eight forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, one sack, and two defensive touchdowns in 180 career games with the Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts, Cowboys, and Vikings. The Cowboys could be interested in bringing the five-time Pro Bowler back, but it would likely be after the 2025 NFL Draft if they strike out on targeted cornerback prospects.

According to NFL insider Peter Schrager, the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants are receiving calls from teams looking to move up to the No. 2 or No. 3 picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Tennessee Titans are expected to select Miami quarterback
Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick, but multiple franchises are reportedly interested in moving up for one of the blue-chip prospects,
Travis Hunter, Abdul Carter, or
Ashton Jeanty. Schrager suggests Cleveland and New York are potentially open for business near the top of Thursday's draft, so things could get interesting right away. There has been a lot of uncertainty surrounding the 2025 draft class after presumed No. 1 pick
Cam Ward, so this is certainly a situation worth monitoring.

East Carolina cornerback Shavon Revel (knee) tore his left ACL in September and isn't expected to be back until around the start of training camp at the end of July, which will be more of a problem for some teams than others, according to SI.com's Albert Breer. Revel is highly regarded and likely would have been a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft if he hadn't torn his ACL. Barring any setbacks, the 23-year-old could have a shot at being ready to make his NFL debut in Week 1, but he still will have missed valuable development time this offseason. Despite his injury, the young defensive back is considered one of the best prospects at his position behind Colorado two-way star and Heisman Trophy winner
Travis Hunter, Michigan cornerback Will Johnson and Notre Dame corner Benjamin Morrison.

Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell (shoulder) had shoulder surgery after the NFL scouting combine in February, and teams are projecting him as a candidate to start his rookie season on the Physically Unable to Perform list in 2025, according to SI.com's Albert Breer. Before his labrum injury, the 21-year-old linebacker was considered a potential top-10 pick in this draft. Campbell's injury is definitely going to cause him to slide down the board in this year's draft, but a team seeking defensive help like the Cincinnati Bengals could find excellent value later on with Campbell. There's a good chance that Campbell will have to miss time early on in his first year in the NFL, but it doesn't mean that he won't have the ability to be a staple in the middle of a team's defense down the road. Even though he's injured, it's possible he'll still be taken in the first round on Thursday.

University of Georgia edge rusher Mykel Williams (ankle) had a so-so workout last week for NFL teams and said that he wasn't at his best because of an ankle injury that he suffered last fall, according to SI.com's Albert Breer. The 20-year-old defensive end is largely expected to be a first-round selection in this year's NFL draft on Thursday evening, but ESPN has him projected to be one of their first-round busts. He didn't end up testing at the scouting combine in February, and although he had 5.5 sacks in his junior year with the Bulldogs, Williams had only four sacks in his first two seasons in college. Williams will need to stay healthy to realize his potential at the next level, and some NFL teams may have enough concerns about his ankle injury to stay away from him altogether in the first round.

Michigan cornerback Will Johnson (knee) has a knee issue that has been flagged leading up to this week's 2025 NFL draft. SI.com's Albert Breer writes that it shouldn't affect Johnson in the short term, but NFL teams are concerned that it could impact his overall longevity. In addition to questions about his long speed, Johnson could slide early on his this year's draft as a result. The fact that the 22-year-old didn't run the 40-yard dash at the scouting combine in February didn't help his cause, and he also suffered a foot injury last October. Johnson also missed Michigan's Pro Day workout due to hamstring injury. It was reported that Johnson scheduled some private workouts earlier this month, so he should be healthy and ready to go for training camp this summer. But all of these injury concerns will probably make teams hesitant to take him early in the first round on Thursday night.

There is some uncertainty as to whether San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner will take part in the team's offseason program (which begins on Tuesday) as he seeks a long-term contract extension, according to The Athletic's Michael Silver. Warner and the 49ers have yet to have substantive contract talks this offseason, but Silver reports that he's likely to report for voluntary activities. The 28-year-old had another All-Pro season in 2024 and finished as a top-10 fantasy linebacker in IDP formats with 131 tackles (76 solo), one sack, five tackles for loss, two interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), seven pass breakups and four forced fumbles in 17 starts. He was a Pro Bowler for the fourth time in his career and for the third straight season. Regardless of his contract situation, Warner should be an every-week IDP starter as long as he's healthy. He's had 100-plus total tackles in all seven of his NFL seasons.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the New York Jets are picking up defensive end Jermaine Johnson's (Achilles) $13.4 million fifth-year option for the 2026 season. The Jets are picking up Johnson's fifth-year option despite the fact that he tore his right Achilles in Week 2 of last year. The 26-year-old pass-rusher had enough time to recover since it was an early-season injury, though, and he remains on track to participate in organized team activities this spring and training camp this summer. Johnson, who was taken 26th overall in the 2022 NFL draft out of Florida State, had 84 tackles (54 solo), 10 sacks, 14 tackles for loss, 21 QB hits, an interception returned for a touchdown, seven pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 31 games (17 starts) in his first two NFL seasons. Depending on how he bounces back from his Achilles injury, he could be in play in deep IDP fantasy formats in 2025.

The New York Jets are picking up cornerback Sauce Gardner's $20.1 million fifth-year option for the 2026 season, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. It's no surprise after Gardner, the former fourth overall pick in 2022 out of Cincinnati, made two Pro Bowls and was named a first-team All-Pro in two of his first three NFL seasons. The 24-year-old defensive back has quickly become one of the best lockdown cornerbacks in the league and could be in line for a long-term contract extension before he even begins his fifth year in the NFL next season. Gardner ended the 2024 season on Injured Reserve due to a hamstring injury, but he still started 15 games and recorded 49 tackles (36 solo), his first career sack, an interception and nine pass breakups. He should be ready for the start of the 2025 season and will be a tough matchup for opposing No. 1 wideouts when they face the Jets.

Miami Dolphins defensive back Jalen Ramsey might've already played his last snap as part of the organization. The organization recently went public by saying they wanted to trade Ramsey in a move that would be in the best interest of the team as a whole. Basically, the Dolphins gave Ramsey a hefty extension and now they regret it. The biggest problem is that Ramsey is owed $21.1 million in guaranteed money for the upcoming season. It's going to be tough to find a buyer for an aging veteran defensive back on a big deal. However, the Las Vegas Raiders and Atlanta Falcons are being named as potential landing spots for Ramsey. The Dolphins are unlikely to get much of a return if they want the other team to take on the salary. It sounds like Miami wants to get a deal done during draft weekend, so we'll see if they can find a suitable candidate.

SNY's Connor Hughes reports that it seems that the New York Giants are heading in the direction of taking the best player available with the No. 3 overall pick in the first round of next Thursday night's draft, despite their desperate need for a franchise quarterback. General manager Joe Schoen said the Giants aren't going to force the issue at QB, especially since they have veteran backup plans in
Russell Wilson and
Jameis Winston now. Everyone knows at this point the Tennessee Titans are going to take Miami QB
Cam Ward at No. 1 overall, so now it's just a matter of the Giants taking one of Colorado receiver/defensive back
Travis Hunter or Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter -- whoever the Cleveland Browns pass on at No. 2. Beyond Ward, none of this year's QB prospects are considered worthy of a top-five selection, as Colorado's
Shedeur Sanders' draft stock has fallen considerably in recent weeks.
